Ninja Gaiden II Storyline
Just a thought, since this is one of my favorite videogame series.
What do you suppose the sequel's storyline would be about? The way I see it, ninjas are basically about honor, death, loyalty, commitment, and sacrifice. And all of that's been done the the first game. To avoid being repetitive(Even though I'd gladly accept it if it happens in the sequel, I'm just playing it safe for the sake of other opinions), what could be the features of the second storyline? I think that Ryu should definately return and have some new members of the Hayabusa Clan, since they've all been massacred. His father Joe/Ken Hayabusa should definitely have a major role in the story, perhaps dealing with the training in the mountains he went through in the first game. Rachel COULD probably return, but I think she was just a one game character. However, with the right direction, she could make a more major impact than she did in the first. Ayane should have a bigger role as well besides giving out advice. Perhaps Ryu's best friend Hayate from Dead Or Alive could make a cameo appearance, but I'm willing to bet there could be the possibility of 2-player cooperative action. There's nothing better than two Ninja buddies kicking demon butt side by side. But you'd have to earn it, just so it could go with the story. Off the record, I hope there will be some chances to fight without your weapon. Hmm, anything's possible. Well, that's my 2 cents. What's yours? :) |
To this day I hate Tecmo for putting Ninja Gaiden 4 (Yes it is Ninja Gaiden 4, I don't care if they decided to simply call it Ninja Gaiden, it is a game made after the NES series) on X-box. They had a poll on the official site about what system they should make it for and PS2 had a big lead but of course they chose to make it for X-box instead. Anyway, I would like some sort of connection to the NES series rather than having it follow the "new" story line. Maybe have Ryu encounter some old foes from the NES series.

 Hey there are people who ahte Ninja Gaidne on the xbox.. I actually picked it up used for 17 bucks canadian. :)
It's a good game and all. I am also happy they added all 3 ninja gaiden games from the nes but the fact remains those games are actually part of the snes ones called Ninja Gaiden Trilogy which was a port of the nes and put all 3 games in 1 and had passwords and some otehr stuff. It was still good but had problems too. |

No offense to people who like X-box, I just hate Microsoft in general. I'm ashamed that I use a Microsoft OS. |
