since there is not much talk about the cartoon coming out on DVD, i have decided to make my own. I just wanted to know if anybody else here also had a DVD burner?
That way we could do half each

oh i c. well it would prob be easier to put them on vcd then cause its alot of work converting them to mpeg2 and vcds play in your dvd player anyways. at least that way others could help you out. i doubt anyone else has a dvd burner. for instance i already have season 1 on vcd.

Ratking 01-15-2002 10:59 PM

Yes, However VCD quality is very poor compared to DVD. Obviously MPEG 2 is better than MPEG 1 , so you can't compare the two really. Converting them is the least of my worries, i have allready completed about 7 random eps from different seasons. I live in Australia where DVD burners cost much more than say America so i feel that there must be somebody out there that has one.

I think putting these cartoons on dvd is a great idea. in fact there should be alot more cartoons on dvd like he-man and the mask along with the turtles.
Great Idea, I love!

thanks man

I wish they were on DVD! I'm an oddball who has no TV or VCR player, but I have a nice computer with a DVD player!

I have a Vcr which has a DvD in it too. I'de rather have them on DvD since tapes seem to whare out after a while.

Ratking 02-03-2002 04:54 AM

spot on man. Thats the reason for DVD. I worked hard and saved up for one and now im getting out what i put in. VHS ware's down and VCD's are very poor quality.

Deathknight 02-03-2002 02:57 PM

well what kinda sucks about DVDs is that you have to take really good care of em. One scratch on the CD and the whole thing could be screwed up permently.

Mutant Brett 02-03-2002 04:10 PM

yea, but i dont have to worry about that. im carful. (my brother isnt so i hide them from him)

Ratking 02-04-2002 05:54 AM

Well its pretty easy not to get a scratch on it. It called taking care of your possessions

Skeletoncrew 02-05-2002 01:14 AM

What?! We're expected to take CARE of the things we buy with our hard earned money? Heh heh heh.

I can honestly say that I've never damaged one of my DVDs or CDs. However, I'm reluctant to lend them out because I've seen how some people just leave them lying out of their cases. Oh well, each to their own.

Ratking 02-06-2002 04:14 AM

yer i hate lending stuff also. Yet i have too much trust in people

Nickokapo 04-02-2002 09:35 PM
