Is The Old Toon Going to Ruturn and Re-broadcast on any channel?
 

I know the New toons on and the creators dont want to have those two mixed up or whatever but is the old toon going to come back on CN or bommerang ect?

I really don't know how anyone would know this, so I don't, it would be cool though, but probably not.

All I can tell you is I have written to POP (UK sattelite TV channel) a few months ago asking if they can put the original cartoon back on British Television:

They wrote back:

"We have fowarded your suggestion to our cartoon pickers. We are happy that you are enjoying our existing programming although we have no immediate plans to show Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles"

So all we can hope at this moment in time is that POP say yes to Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles

Not that I love CN right now but they should pick up the TMNT OS and try out at least the episodes that have already come out on DVD. Then maybe the new series would pick up too...It could onlyt help I would hope at least people may watch both for the sake of comparing.
I think a lot of 80s toons would do well revived.

I think like 2 years ago some local station in the US started airing it again, check the really old technodrome news.

it was probably USA, I used to love watching the classic TMNT on that station when I was younger.

USA hasn't aired it since like '94 or '95. They stopped showing cartoons awhile back. I never heard of them broadcasting it anywhere in the U.S. after CBS cancelled it. I could see it maybe on Boomerang, or those early morning broadcast syndication slots where they show shows like "Inspector Gadget", "The Littles", and "Smurfs".

It's not on Boomerang, believe me, and I don't expect it to ever be.

pffft, when they get around to getting out all the season on dvd!

I think both...

The biggest reason I see it not coming to "Boomerang", is because it's basically all "Hana-Barbara" toons, anything else is old stuff like Looney Toons and Popeye.
