Tales of the TMNT 14
The official site has the preview for Tales 14 which is apperantly continued on from Tales 13? I haven't read Tales 13 so I was not aware that it was a 2 parter! ARGH!! I need to get Tales 13!! :(
Tales 14 continues the adventure of Young Leo, Leo, Old Leo, and Really Old Leo. http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/m...vol2/14/14.htm |
Yea I don't have 13 yet either but Im looking forward to the storyline....Tales is so refreshing after trying to make sense of and enjoy vol. 4
|
I loved this story arc! I can't wait to see what happens to the Leo's! And they better tell us how old the senior Leo is.
Young Leo - 8*though he looks 15* Teenager Leo - 15 Middle aged Leo*By human standards* - 45 Senior Leo - ??? |
I got Tales 13 now...
But yea it's: Chibi Leo (age 8 ) Teen Leo (age 15) Middle Aged Leo (age 45 but as he says he's 45 in human years so there's no way of knowing his actual age....) Yoda er I mean Splinter er I mean Elder Leo (100+) |
I still need to get Tales #13, this story arc is very intriguing!
This one looks nice as well. |
Nice conclusion to the story, and a good message at the end. I won't spoil it for those who haven't gotten it yet.

just post it an lable it spoilers please. im not fortunate enough to have a comic shop around that sells these stories

SP-SP-SP-SPOILERS AND THE JEEEETS!
Okay, a decent conclusion to the story. It was mostly just a fightscene, though. However, I liked the plot twist with Pai Doth Noor. He's some great ancient multi-dimensional traveler and his great quest was nothing more than a scheme to escape death. Pretty funny. A shame the length of this story got cut. I mean, I enjoyed the Professor Obligado story at the end, but would've preferred the main story to be a little bit longer. The Obligado story was worth a chuckle, particularly the whole "Rambo" spoof. Nothing more terrifying than an Utrom with a headband and a machine gun. ;) And the frontice piece is spectacular. Leo swooping in, katanas-blazing, on a snarling Leatherhead with Manhatten skyscrapers in the background. Beautiful. I'm also looking forward to the story in #15. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun; I love the "haunted highway" angle. |

you know I'm really starting to love this series it sooooo remind sme allot of archie and how great a series that was! but issue #15 reminds me allot of the characters from the other crazy monster demon highway issue before rick vitch did? sorry if I spelled his name wrong lol wonder if its the same characters or place... -Putrescent |
I know the "hot rodders" in #15 are a spoof of something...I just don't know what.
Billy and Mandy did a parody of it, and so have tons of other cartoons and comics. I just don't know where the parody comes from. :ohwell: |

Oh yeah, that's the stuff! 8)
Thanks, man. |
«My name is Veitch, Rick Veitch»
Maybe it's the same place, but I doubt it's the same characters (copyrights and stuff). The guys in this story weren't dead, though. Speaking of which, anybody noticed the high number of casualties in the new Tales? Since it started, we got Myzoko, the shark Saki clone, Obligado, an homeless man on a roof killed by Leo, Kate Ocho, Larry McKinney, Sloane, Klunk, Ben and David Chudnovsky, Izumi and her two «quick Foot» buddies, the Beast (which makes two), and now Pai-Doth-Noor gets it too. It's a regular shooting gallery, and I'm not counting the ghosts. Murphy really is obsessed by death these days; maybe it's his new baby... |
They did publish a letter about the high death rate in #12 and in response Murphy saidhe admitted that he and/or the writers were channeling the world's preoccupation with death. I'm not exactly sure what that means but feel free to voice your own opinion.

Wow this was a kick ass issue! I also loved the first page with Leatherhead and Leo ^_^ I loved the ending too. I'm glad I started buying these again!
