Tales of TMNT #15
 

Came out a few weeks ago, but with the site troubles and blah blah blah.

This was another great issue of Tales; one of my favorites single-stories, in fact. I'm usually not a big fan of Lawson's art but I think he did a great job of capturing the look and feel of [insert that dude's name cuz I forgot it]'s art. A good ghost story.

The solution was painfully obvious (give the skull to the headless chick, problem solved) but the story only gets 1 issue to tell it, so you can't expect too much.

Shadow was also quite tolerable in this issue. Usually she's an awful b1tch and I hate her guts. But naw, she didn't do anything to piss me off for once.

Overall it was a pretty good story. The best single-issue story in a while, anyhow.

I loved this issue.

Shadow, Casey, and Mike go visit Gabrielle's "grave" Mother's Day 2001. Awww...

Too bad after defeating the ghosts in the end Shadow didn't look behind her. She could have seen her mother's ghost on the hill! :o

It was good perhaps a bit predictable but still good... the cover and story reminded me of some of the old vol 1 stories when diferent artists/writers had done stories... the cover probably reminds me of the one where leo is on the car hood in issue 2 (lots of reds and both have cars I guess)...

I've stoped caring and or looking for these books I have 2 comic shops here in the los angeles area they maybe get 3 copies of each tmnt book in because they dont sell well at all....by the time I get to the shops they are sold out....so weeeeee...I'm over it...

Usually if I cant find them at the comic stores I get them from the official site ,L.A sure is short on this comics :ohwell:

Just do what I do, have one of the comic shops put the issues on layaway for you. It's saved me a world of grief for nearly 4 years straight!
