Do you think that they will have some sort of special issue for issue 25 of volume four. Possibly some kind of reunion issue for the turtles? It seems to me the past few issues have been leading up to something and I think that thing is the rescue of Mikey. What do you guys think?

From the cover of 24, I would be guessing that Mikey will earn his own way out of lockup. The Reginta (sp) is there as he attacks, so I'm guessing that 25 will FINALLY go into detail about the book the Foot is mass producing. Did they even say yet why April can't even consider artificial semination?

April wasn't naturally concieved, therefore she's incapable of bearing children. Shadow is the closest thing she and Casey will ever have for a daughter.

I loved the donny robot. that was so cool. the exosuit i guess is what it should be called. and leonardo finding those scrolls. also really cool.

The plot points in issue 25:

Casey and Raph ambush the vampires.
(Casey is bitten! :o )

Mike tries to contact Seri.
(Poor Mike...hopefully he gets out)

Leonardo discovers mysterious papers amidst Splinter's things.
(ooh...mysterious...)

Shadow follows her friend Jay and uncovers a menace.
(Is this the alien dude from a couple issues back??)

What you're talking about is issue 24, not 25. 24 now has it's own topic and yes that's the alien dude from a couple of issues back.

NO! #25 isn't the current issue, #24 is! This was just a topic I made wondering whether anyone thought there was going to be any hype surrounding #25.

So...why is the #25 thread stickied before the #24 thread? That's the issue that came out today.

Oops...sorry... I uh missread it...thought it issue 24... *blinks* This is what i get for posting while Im tired :P

I knew that April was a drawing, I like everyone else here got issue 22 and I would like to say that it has nothing there saying anything about her not being able to artificially hold a baby. (In other words, I know that she does not have ovaries that produce eggs, I'm saying someone donate an egg and Casey uses his sperm and it is put in April for her to bare.) Yes, I know it's sick to think about, but it's just one of the many possiblities. My aunt and uncle considered it after she found out she couldn't have children. Now, I know that making her a drawing renders her unable to concieve the egg, but she also eats, drinks, sleeps and functions like a normal human, why can't they go this route?

Did anyone else think that we're almost to the halfway point to where Vol. 1 ended? Also, this is the longest running TMNT comic since Vol. 1 and the Archie series. Could this surpass the 63 issues that Vol 1 made it? I'm hoping so!

Shadow is assaulted in the woods. Leonardo uses Splinter's old scrolls to travel. Azokk helps Mike make an escape attempt. The police question Count Yorga, one of the "vampires" that attacked Raphael.

So we get to see the Battle Nexus in comic form!! :o

I'm not sure what I think of the Battle nexus coming into play in Vol 4....to me it says ole Petey's run dry on ideas. I liked that Battle Nexus but some of the Mirage adaptations were the better stories, that and other original to the show storylines. The Battle Nexus is a good plot point, but there are better.

I just stopped by the local shop. It's not out yet! :tcry:

Oh well. Maybe next Wednesday?

I love, Love, LOVE that cover for 25. It's just has a certain touch to me that makes me love it so. If my GF can get here quick enough, I'm going to go to my local shop to see if it's in.

Yeah... he said it might not be out until January, which means that if he's showing the previews now, and they didn't come out this Wednesday, they'll come out next Wednesday, which is: JANUARY! (sorry... sarcasm runs in the family.)

Again, this just means that there are 4 great things about January: 3 Comics this month and one new DVD! Great way to start off '06 guys! By the way, I went to the comic store, but I didn't make it in time, they were closed. I'll have to go sometime later on, but I might not be up there for a while now.
