Now this, I could sink my teeth into. I love cooking and baking these days, almost entirely because of Alton Brown.

The amazing recipe for fried egg Melt butter or something in a frying pan Carefully crack egg inside pan Add pepper, salt and whatnot Fry it. Enjoy. I'll post my pancake-recipe later on. |

We made these yesterday for our campus thanksgiving dinner Oven browned sweet potatoes: ingredients: sweet potatoes (as many as you'd like) olive oil marhsmellows brown sugar butter equipment: oven bowl cake pan instructions: cube sweet potatoes. coat sweet potatoes in olive oil (fill the bowl, and do one potatoe chunk at a time, and bake at 350 for ten minutes. while potatoes are cooking, melt butter and mix brown sugar to create a sauce of sorts. after potatoes cook for ten minutes, remove from oven and pour brown sugar mixture into the cake pan over potatoes, making sure they're covered. return to oven, and cook until light brown. remove from oven, put in serving dish, cover with marshmellows, and cover the serving dish to melt the marshmellow. just play around with ammounts and cooking times. more sauce is better, as potatoes act like sponges. |
