I have dined on turtle soup...
?????????????????????
|
Sinner! I hope you get shot!
Next question is, if that turtle would have lived if you didn't eat it. On a related sidenote: |
That chicken doesn't look to good... It's all red...
I prefer KFC. :P |
KFC is horrible and disgusting. >_<
|
I too have dined on turtle soup.
I have also dined on alligator. I have dined on rabbit as well. I have yet to dine on rat, but it seems inevitable. :tevil: Maybe before that I'll finish turning into a vegetarian. Except for the sushi. Yummy. |

I haven't had turtle but I am willing to try it....even after I saw how Suppon (a Japanese delicacy made from turtle) was made on the Travel channel. Altho I don't think I'll be able to drink the blood juice. blech! As for Chicken...well I love it but it doesn't agree with me....same with turkey. :ohwell: There's actually a website that has the recipe for turtle soup, as well as a list of what is made from which body part. On that same site it lists the TMNT among some of the most recognized turtles in pop culture. I accidentally found it once while searching for info on Lord George Curzon (he was the British viceroy to India in the 1800's. His wife perfected a recipe for turtle soup that's very popular in Europe apperantly.) Here's the recipe: http://www.soupsong.com/scurzon.html And here's the page that lists what body parts are used and the TMNT! http://www.soupsong.com/fturtle.html Nice to know the TMNT are up there with the evil Yertle the Turtle. :P |
I love to eat Bison....much leaner than regular red meat
I love sushi EDIT I forgot to mention that I love gelato, which is Italian for ice cream. This has been around since 1300 in Florence. MOD EDIT{VOLTRON}- Combined the double posts. But my favorite treat is Gelato....Italian for ice cream. This has been around since 1300. It is much better than normal ice cream. |
I had alligator jerky once. I also had hasenpfeffer (a German dish made from rabbit) once too. Taste sort of like pork, but the texture is akin to chicken.
When I was a child, I had a black cat who was quite a hunter, and we could tell when he caught something when he left animal remains under the porch. One time when he had stopped hunting and I commented on the fact, I went outside and looked under the porch and caught Willy (the cat) actually eating a rabbit. He looked at me, stuck his tongue out a couple of times, then went back to chewing. Of course I had rabbit parts to clean up later.:ohwell: |
