Another open letter
 

Dear Technodrome,


My dad is dying. And since this place is just about as bat **** loco as I said in the last letter, don't be suprised if I'm not my normal self for a while, or if I'm not seen as much. I love all you guys, and I'm not leaving or anything, but we're all ****ing crazy (including me). And I don't really need to much more crazy right now.

You've got my doomdolences, man. I'd be an absolute blithering idiot right now if I had to deal with what you're dealing with.

Doom, I don't really know what it's like to loose a parent.....but I did bury a husband. I'm here if you need to talk. It took me three years to get back to semi normal (you never are REALLY normal again, after all). Just take things easy and enjoy each day that's given.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible. I know the feeling, and I was a total wreck for a while. It was a false alarm in my case, but the dread was very real. Hang in there.

Doom? People everywhere act 500xCraxy for much less rational reasons than that. Don't for one moment think that folks'll come down on you over any 'weirdness' b/c of this.

But yeah, take what time you need. Do whatcha gotta do. And take care of yourself. Your friends'll understand and WANT that for you.

My sympathies for your family. I hope the real world backs off long enough for you all to give your father all the attention and love you can.

I'm sorry to hear that doom, all I can tell you it will be a very long time until the pain goes away, I have had some experience with this, so if you feel like talking I have a open ear.
