TMNT Bubble Toons: A Review

"The Wacky Bubble Gum with Images You Eat!" That's the selling point for the TMNT Bubble Toons, one of many in a line of gum with "edible images" on them. The "edible images" you get, if you can't tell from the images are the 4 turtles, Shredder, and the Underground Mutants, Quarry, Stonebitter, and Razorfist. I keep putting quotation marks around "edible images" because though they are indeed edible, they taste like paper. The gum has a nice strawberry flavor, and it lasts about as long as any gum you can buy nowadays. I bought it for $1.00 at the store, a bit steep for 8 pieces of gum, but I bought it for the shere novelty of it.

The TMNT Bubble Toons Game:
This is just something I made up...kinda a way to figure which piece of gum to eat first, since you can't choose a Turtle to eat first. (SB and RF went first with me, like you care.) The game is very simple. Choose 2 character gum tiles, and like dice, roll them across the desk or table where you're sitting. If they both land face up or face down roll again, but if one lands face up and the other face down the face up character is the winner of the "battle" and the loser is eaten. Cheesy I know, but I had to come up with something to make the gum sorta worthwile. :p

Not one of Don...how sad O_O I used to eat picture gum. It always tasted like crap. But that was back when I was a kid things have changed.
