Buying New Game *Help*
So I want a new multiplayer game. I go to Gamestop, Target, and Best Buy*The only three stores in my city that sell games* and look for awhile and I never find anything.
I'm looking for a game that's atleast 2 player, for PS2 or Gamecube, and isn't a sports game. I do make exceptions for Mario sports games but the only one I want is Strikers and I only have 30-40 to blow so I can't get it. I don't like FPS games but I wanted to pick up Killzone because I saw it at the store and it looked pretty cool. Plus it was cheap and the people I was with said it was good too. But When I went to buy it the idiots at Gamestop put the game on the shelf but didn't have it in the back. And the other stores didn't have it. If I have to I'll go to another store in another city to get a game it's no biggie but I don't want to go until I hav ea game in mind. So I ask, what are some good multiplayer games? Here's a list of what I got which might help give you an idea of what I like. Battlefront 1 and 2 The Bouncer Samurai Warriors Zone Of The Enders 1 and 2 *Vampire Night *Ninja Assult Smash Brothers Mario Tennis Marvel Nemsis *Godzilla Destory All Monsters Melee Freedom Fighters *Phansty Star Online *Ninja Turtles 2 I put a star next to games I don't like anymore but listed them so you know what I already have. Thank You |
If you don't have Double Dash then I really recommend you buy it. It's a truly fantastic multiplayer game and you can get it cheap now so you'll have enough money left over to buy another game.

No Zelda?
BE GONE WITH YOU! Beyond Good and Evil is great, Prince of Persia too. Go Ubisoft. Guitar Hero's a crap ton of fun if you have an extra 30 to shell out (so not worth it without the controller). |

Well, Four Swords Adventures is multiplayer, but you need a GBA and a GBA-GC link cable for each player, so unless you and your friends already have those, I wouldn't bother.
Soul Calibur 2 (or 3, but I haven't played it) is pretty cool, you should pick that up if you like fighting games. Super Mario Strikers is a fun party game, but there's not a lot of meat to it. |
Personally, I'm a sucker for old-school gameplay...So in terms of multiplayer games, you can't go wrong with Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for the PS2 and X-Box. It recieves my highest recommendation.

I personally see Soul Calibur III as nothing but an improvement upon II. The only thing I miss is Link. So that being said, I'd recommend III.

Yeah so I went to the store and traded in tons of stuff. I got 170+ in trade in value. I Put it on a gift card*Going to use it to buy a Used 360 but their out so hes gona call me when they get one* Anyways I had another 150 in my pocket so I nabbed Mario Strikers.
Mario Strikers RULES! I played with my 3 friends and we all worked as a team against the computer it was sooooo fun. It's the best party game I have played in years. |
Hah, sorry... didn't read that you wanted multiplayer.
GH *is* 2 player though, which is really the best you can hope for on PS2. |

Never buy Killzone. It's playable for the first level and a half, then everything just goes down hill and you wish you were dead.
