The Technodrome moves between seasons..?
I hope you guys don't mind me asking all these questions about the cartoon but this is the only fun place online where I can discuss TMNT with other turtle fans! Something I always found odd was when the technodrome used to change placed between seasons. Like at the end of Season 1 it was in this firey pit in Dimension X but in Season 2, it's in this flat land place. In Season 2 it sinks into lava but in Season 3 is near a lava pit then at the end of Season 3 it's crashed into some big thing (that I NEVER knew what it was. I always thought it was a bigger technodrome - at the end of 'The Big Blow Out') but then in Season 4 it's on an asteroid.

:-? I've always found that weird....
I dunno what the explanation is, maybe deathknight does, he knows a lot about the toon :P Maybe the writers goofed. |
well, Many writer and No continuity. But I think the places went like this:
Season 01: Under New York Season 02: In dimension X Season 03: Deep underground Season 04: On asteroid in Dimension X Season 05: In arctic place Season 06: Underwater Euro eps :In Dimension X Season 07: Underwater Season 08 scrapped in Dimension X |
they lik going in dimension x

Well only continuity the show had, was the place of the technodrome. Of course some David Wise eps were connected.

Well, even though the Technodrome changed alot from season to season, it's not as crazy as how many times it changed its size!! Sometimes the thing would just be huge, and other times it wasn't anywhere close to it's previous size.

re:
I think it moved to allow the show to evolve with the characters and to create new situations. And it allowed Shredder and Krang to come up with ideas that would eventually lead to a small victory before they got blasted away for another season. And besides that, it gave the writers time to come up with more ideas for the next season.

I need to go back to the official site and see which eps he did. I thought some ideas were much better than a few others. It's just that when a certain idea or aspect got over-used (like mutant flies and giant bugs) it became boring.

Well he co-wrote the first season, and has written the best eps in the series trough all seasons. Im sure that no one can disagree that he is the best TMNT cartoon writer.
