Worms of Madness

every one is talking about the worms of madness story arc. Can any one tell me, what was the story about and what issue was it??

Aztec General 07-22-2006 10:51 AM

Tales of the TMNT Vol. 2 #3-4. It takes place right after the events of "Return to New York" Vol. 1 #19-21.

Sage Ninja 07-22-2006 12:08 PM

what happens in it? I hear the turtles get a personality change or something :ohwell:

Spitfire 07-22-2006 04:20 PM

Shredder comes back. A Foot Mystic brings him back using worms. He gets turned into this huge mutant Shark thing. He takes Splinter and kicks the turtles asses. And then the TMNT go afterhim and kill him again. Then the mystic turns into a fish.

Krangstein 07-22-2006 04:56 PM

They say that Shredder will be resurrected by the mystics in the lost sesaon (ninja Tribunal) Do you think it will be as a worm , like in the comics??

Spitfire 07-22-2006 05:11 PM

Maybe that would be cool. But he would be that big shark probly.

Yeah, the mystics do something to them that makes their personality's diffrent. Leo becomes a goof, Mikey becomes serious, Don is a dumbass, and Raph is a pussy.

I'd raelly HATE to see that on the cartoon!

Spitfire 07-23-2006 08:07 AM

I'd like to see it actually. They did it in the old show kinda.

Krangstein 07-23-2006 12:32 PM

wow, that must have been a bug out! Persoanlly I waould love to see this adapted into the new toon. Actually, this sounds like something that would have occured in the old toon :o

How long where their personalites like this? How did the turtles break the spells on them?

Spitfire 07-24-2006 11:43 AM

One issue I believe.

Not long, in fact, they cleared it up in the same issue. Someting to do with this mystical and powerful cosmic ape named Pai Doth Nor. He cured them.

Krangstein 07-24-2006 04:23 PM

I can't see how the worms of madness story can be written in the Ninja tribunal story arc. It can't work.

All they have to do is re-write it, not very hard to keep the basic ideas and change a few things.

discordiatookie 07-25-2006 01:28 PM

mikey, being all serious in his new personality, manages to get hold of the "mystical and powerful cosmic ape named Pai Doth Nor" to break the spell and help them out. Pai Doth Nor also appears in issues 12 and 14...

Sage Ninja 07-25-2006 04:26 PM

whoa! That is awsome so Michaelangelo actually has something important to do. Thats cool because Mike is grossely under used in plot advancement and spot light in the Mirage comics. I find it interesting that the reverse of the other turtles persoanlites had a negative consequences to them expect Michaelangelo's. I guess they that means Michaelangelo's persoanlity is the yin to the other turtles yang in the team duymanic.

how was the whole personality switch thing presented, was it a dramitic situtation or was it delivered in a more light comical fashion?
