TMNT next season
 

So, with this new TMNT show coming out...does that mean the new season of TMNT is starting this weekend too?

That wording is a tad confusing, but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward is the only TMNT show airing this weekend or in the immediate future. The follow-up to The Ninja Tribunal will be released direct-to-video sometime before February 2007.

TMNT and TMNT: Fast Forward are one and the same.

the confusion is understandable, they seem to interchange between treating it like a brand new series to just being the same, depending on what they want to get accross, kind of like JL and JLU.

Yeah I like to think of Fast Forward as a new series. One with tones of the old "retro" show as they say, but a new show. Strangely enough Justice League and Justice League Unlimited I think as the same show. Geez...how confusing. I guess people can see it any way they like.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Unlimited"... Hmm... Has a nice ring to it. After all, both Marvel & DC properties used the "Unlimited" tag. Why not TMNT? :D But, what would have been more appropriate is "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Beyond" :lol:

TMNT: Fast Forward is just the fifth season with a new direction. Like Angel season five was. They didn't call Angel: Wolfram & Hart, did they? No. So even though they are making changes, this is still the same show we have seen. Just a whole new direction.

Well, they're the same characters as established in the first 4 seasons, but the more I see, the less I feel like it's the same show. It's more like a show on the side. A side-show, if you will. :P
