My dad passed away this afternoon after battling with kidney cancer for about 5 months. He just turned 59 in May. I'm not posting this for attention, In fact I don't want a huge deal to be made of it at all. I pretty much just figured this was the easiest way to inform a lot of people in one fell swoop. That being said please forgive any sort of unpleasant demeanor, irritibilty, or unavailability that I might exhibit in the near future

I'm really sorry, dude. You know if you need anyone, I'll be here. We can talk on vent if you need it.

You know what I said, sweetheart. ANYthing you need. EVER. Tell me.

I don't know what to say. Other than I'm really sorry for your loss, and that I can sympathize, having lost a very close family member myself.

Wow man...my father has been battling kidney disease as well (just turned 50)....i am truly sorry for your loss...
