Difference between the UK version and the US version of the first movie
I noticed that there are different scenes in the UK version of the first TMNT movie. I knew that the nunchaku scenes where cut in the UK version. But the scenes where the Turtles walk April home and the fight scene in Aprils apartment are a bit different. In the fight scene in Aprils apartement you can see some fight moves of Leonardo with his swords.

Wow, is that so? I was unaware that any scenes had been edited out for the UK version...Though it doesn't completely surprise me, given their hysteria over the word "ninja" in the title.

At the end scene when the Turtles throw away their weapons you don't seen the nunchaku of Michaelangelo, but you see the bo of Donatello falling of the building.
And when Shredder storms at Splinter, in the original Splinter holds Shredder with the Nunchaku and gives a final speech. In the UK version that speech is cut out and Shredder fall right of the building. |

Another fun thing that was in the UK version is the fight in Aprils apartement.
In the original when another loading of Foot jumps in Aprils apartment, Donatello says 'I don't know if this is structurly spreaking the best time for you're bodys to drop in'. After that the first floor breaks and everybody falls to the basement. In the UK version after Donatello speaks his line, there is a moment of silence and you hear the floor cracking and you see a close up on Donatello's face. And than the floor breaks. Besides that there are some shots of Leonardo whit his swords, and the 'wheel of fortune' thing was slightly different. |
