Some nice thinking. Would certainly be good if the releases pan-out as well as that. :)

I just wonder why certain releases in your conjectured list have 10 episodes?

Krangstein 09-23-2006 02:00 PM

I hope it goes faster than what i predicted, it is a very long time.

You've missed out "Plan Six from Outer Space" and Turtles and the Hare, and Once Upon a Time Machine are not in Season 4 but Season 5 (1991):)

Plan Six from Outer Space will be on volume. 6, the last episode. and Turtles and the Hare, and Once Upon a Time Machine were produced for season 4 but shown as part of season 5. You can even see the opening in those 2 episodes is the old opening, before they changed it in mid season 4.

for episodes in chronological order, check out:

I'm in no rush to get all the episodes. In fact I appreciate it more when they give me time to watch all the episodes on each disc inbetween each release. Now that they upped the releases I haven't finished volume 4 and I just bought volume 5.

Still if they are going to take so long, they could at least add special features. I almost want to just download dvd-rips and create my own box art and not pay a thing, but I do buy the DVDs cuz I support turtles, and more importantly keep the releases going. NO MORE SWEEDISH SUBS! ;)

We don't know that for certain. Or, if you do have some proof, let's see it... ;)

I wish you'd stop saying they switched the opening sequence. They didn't. The episodes made exclusively for CBS were given an exclusive opening sequence. It's as simple as that. New syndicated episodes (made for distribution by Group W Communications) continued to premiere after CBS's exclusive opening sequence had premiered. Twenty-eight of them, to be exact.

Now, just out of curiosity, I need to know this. How many times do you have to ask the exact same question before you're satisfied with the answers you get? I don't mean to gripe, but I've had a stressful day. :(

Sorry I didn't get what you were talking about before, but it doesn't matter that the opening sequence was made exclusivly for the CBS episodes, Turtles and the Hare, and Once Upon a Time Machine were still made as a part of season 4, and if they are going to release the episodes in chronological order, placing the european vacation before season 4, I thought they'd wanna have Turtles and the Hare, and Once Upon a Time Machine a part of season 4.

I agree with that. But, we can only speculate what the 12th ep on Volume Six will be. And, I don't see any reason to think they aren't following the order from Molly Bode's guide on NinjaTurtles.com. It's just the most obvious answer. People want to think that official sites have the most reliable information. But, it's typically the fandom sites where you find more detailed info.

I agree, the official site posts new information days after all the fans know it from somewhere else. I'd go to Technodrome.com to get info rather than ninjaturtles.com. Now what I wanna know is who edited wiki and states they know european vacation will be relaesed before season 4. Don't get me wrong, it could very well be true, but who has that kind of information?? The list I made at the top of the page is just speculation.

JimmyPSHayes 09-24-2006 02:12 PM

I have to agree with Ectocooler. While it's nice to get the releases so quick, sometimes I think it's almost too quick. On the other hand, I wouldn't want them doing one release a year like some DVD sets. They at least have to give each release enough time to sell before bringing out the new one.

CyberCubed 09-24-2006 03:40 PM

I really want 3-4 releases a year.

2010 is a HELL of a long time from now, I'll be done will College and everything by then, I don't want to wait THAT long to have the entire series on DVD.

I really hope they finish by '08. Wishful thinking? Maybe, but it'll help while the new show is still on the air in any case.

Mr._Mutant_Man 11-03-2006 02:23 PM

I've still got to get volume three, I'm falling behind.

Based on the original post, there were a lot more episodes than I remember. I must have stopped really watching the show around 1992, or at least I stopped watching new episodes because I recall watching reruns on USA.

Sage Ninja 11-04-2006 12:52 PM

USA saved the day for me, its where i got into the turtles.

I just hope the series gets put on the dvd all the way **fingers crossed**
