I mean...april can't have ash's voice...that'd be cathastrophic! :dead: I know i'd hate it.
I've been to her site that she made herself :roll: she could use some html lessons...but the highlight was the guestbook, i'll quote some of the stuff in there here:

Point is i dont wanna see people saying "OMG APRIL IS SO HOT HURR" or april sounding like ash :roll: but since the cast's already been chosen there's nothing left to do :P oh well.
I bet splinter will be voiced by pikachu and the whole purple dragon gang by shaquille o'neal. *sigh*

Ah, give the gal a chance. We know Ash's voice from Pokemon, but many VAs can change their voice accordingly. I'm sure she can make April sound completely different.

But yeah, if she's a talented VA i'm guessing she'll be able to change her voice a bit so to adjust it to the character.

And that shouldn't be surprising. Nancy Cartwright did Bart Simpson's voice (another girl doing a guy's voice).

PEGASUS?!! That spoiled gamemaster from Yu-Gi-Oh?!! His voice
would sound so terrible on Splinter!! :dead:

As for women doing boys voices, yes, it is quite common. Most men have deep voices and can't quite make it sound "boyish". So they get a women with a higher, more childlike voice to do the voice.

I dunno who pegasus is, but anyways...
As long as they can make their voices fit the characters they are playing it should be fine...bleh, never liked american dubbing all that much :tgrumble: tho the one in the old cartoon wasnt bad.

Splinter won't be voiced by pikachu, rather it'll be voiced by Scottie Ray, the guy that voiced "Mr.Foofy the talking bunny" in pokemon.

But I am incouraged by Caseys VA, if I'm thinking of the right guy on Daria it could work really well

And, if i remeber it correct, Milhouse's voice too...
