Every one knows of the release date of TMNT in the US. But does anyone know when it comes out over here in the UK?

I wasn't sure someone had an answer for this?

I asked Murphy that question, and he said that the movie will be released simultaneously, so it should be out on the 23rd of March in Ireland and the UK.

thats fantastic i half expected it to come out 2 months later like some films do.

Does that include New Zealand? (Hope hope hope..... I may just cry if travel prevents me from seeing it opening night anywhere >_< )

My favourite local cinema is called the VUE, there's a couple more but VUE's the one with the comfiest seats and you can sit where you want, and it has the tastiest food (comfort and being able to pick where i sit are very important to me!) Also it has good air conditioning (the other main cinema is too hot, too cramped, sound is crap and they leave some overhead lights on which i find very distracting! And the little 'indie' type cinema is ok, but feels like you are sitting in a lecture theatre with a big screen rather than a proper cinema!)

SO when's he going to get to the point i here you all say... well, just recently VUE have been, missing out some big(gish) movies that i want to see, only showing the 'blockbusters', meaning i have to go to the other (crappier) cinemas to catch the flicks (namely - the prestige and pan's labyrinth) or wait til they come out on DVD. (i'm gonna catch pan's labyrinth in the cinema defo - the prestige can wait!) So i'm worried that VUE aint gonna show TMNT and its gonna be up to the other crappy two to show it, meaning i'll go in and get all cranky and pissed off that the chairs are too small, i'm getting a sore neck, its too hot, the sound's crap and they've left a buncha lights on overhead...

The only thing i've got going for my fave cinema to show the movie is that a coupla years back, in the weekend lunchtime matinee for kids (no less) for a bout a month solid they were showing the original TMNT film! I dragged my fiance to go see it on its first day and had a great time! (check out TMNT vol4 issue 17 i think - i even included it in the letters page!! :D) and i was quite surprise to find that there was a bunch of folks around our age (early twenties) as well as a ton of kids! So fingers crossed...
