My Hero...
 

When I registered here I wanted to participate but something happened...life interrupted...well, in this case...'death'.
My father died October 31st. He was on kidney dialysis and had some heart blockages for the last year and a half. He was brave about it all and never once complained. He seemed to be hanging in there pretty good considering. On the last day of his life, he developed a cough. He was taken to his doctor and was given medicine and told he would feel better by morning. He had a heart attack around midnight and morning never came for him. :cry:
I'm sorry...I didn't want to just pop back in here without an explanation.
Thanks for reading this if you have. It has helped me a little, to type this and I am told that time will help me heal.

Oh, honey... *hugs* I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I did wonder where you'd gone off to, though... If you need anything at all, we're here for you. I am here, even if it's just to talk.

My father just passed away in July. He'd been on dialysis as well, cancer had just sorta spread all over his body and after living in pain for about 5 months with little to no progress he decided he was ready to go, and so he went. I know it isn't an easy thing at all, it still kinda knocks me on my ass from time to time, and I'm sure it will continue to. We just had our first Thanksgiving without him and it was certainly kinda weird. But anyways, don't hesitate to come here and vent, cause there's a lot of great people here who will listen and help as best they can.

I'll take all the hugs I can get. It's been hard not having him around...not seeing him. *gives a big hug to Dr. Doom too*
