I don't know about the autograph which is cool but looking at that image of raph from the first film I just have to say Jim Henson was one of the most amazing people in the world and the creature shop is not used enough in todays world of cgi crap movies!:D

That's one of my most favorite pics of Raphers...I got it on my wall, but it's a German Lobby card! Came with another Raph reading the paper and 2 of Donnie :D

People praise cgi and while it is a useful tool for doing things puppets can't the thing is it still looks like a cartoon. A good combination of puppetry and cgi seems to be the way to go.

The cgi in all the Sci-Fi Channel original movies look about as convincing as the really old stop motion animation.

Exactly! If they were to use WALDO (That is, a Henson company invention that makes a CGI character that is controlled like a puppet) that would be amazing. I hate to break the news here, but I've noticed Sesame Street is starting to get into CGI's allong with Puppets. I saw something yester day in which the Twiddle bugs were now a CGI segment, and according to the back of the new Sesame Street Christmas carol movie (BTW, don't bother... it's a clip show from what I heard) they have several CGI characters in there as well.

Sometimes its easy to forget that in that picture is a freaking MUPPET. Down deep, that is a MUPPET!

Look into the eyes and it's not, he's alive, he seems SO real. You expect him to move, breathe and all that...the magic of Henson, mixed with Josh's brilliant performance.....nothing can beat that. Gotta love it.

and that is why that will always be so great *sigh* Jim's touched so many people in his short time with his brilliant work. I mean seriously when I see that I go damn that's a ninja turtle and it really seems real.

Sesame Street becoming all cgi would be a real bummer. There is a real charm about using puppets.

Also, three years ago I watched the TMNT movie for the first time in a long time. I was amazed at how the puppetry involved with bringing the turtles to life still held up today.
