Is season 4 on one dvd or box set? Or is it split up?

It's half-and-half. There are some episodes on Volumes 3.4 to 3.7, and then the remaining eps. (14) on the 2-Disc "Season 4" DVD.

The 26 eps that are officially season four are split up over a few volumes, starting with "Shredder's Final Countdown". The "Season Four" volume is actually only a compilation of what eps of season four were left still unavailable on DVD at that point. It's a normal sized case with two discs inside, totaling 14 eps. Also, this thread has nothing to do with the new movie. ;)

Yea I forgot that there was a movie section, so I just clicked on New when I saw it, and it came here by accident.

That explains why i couldn't find this thread in the cartoon discussion.

Ok I think I get it now. Season 4 dvd is just the last 14 episodes of the season that they couldnt fit on the other dvds.

In a manner. They had been doing single-disc releases from the beginning through Vol. 3.7. And previously had Volumes 3.8 and 3.9 planned, but then decided to just finish it with the remainder of Season 4 (that hadn't been put on DVD yet) in a 2-disc release.

And I would say it's a good DVD to own, especially when it has most of the remaining episodes of Season 4 and the unaired "Insane Membrane" making it a must for any fan of the series.
