Old toon DVD errors
 

Hi

Have you guys had problems with your "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" volume 5 DVD? I have. Here are my problems:

"Corporate Raiders from Dimension X"

Michaelangelo's lips freeze some point while he is saying "like, what secret weapon? " . Also, Leonardo's lips don't move at all when he says "There is only one thing to do: Donatello, let him have it! " .

"Pizza by the Shred"

During one of Shredder's negotiations with Bebop and Rocksteady, there is a horrible "quick glitch" in the sound (can't remember what Shredder was saying) .

"Usagi Yojimbo"

Throughout parts of what could have been a fight with a dragon, the top of the picture turns red and wobbles

Is my copy dodgy or are you guys getting the same problems?

Until now, all my Turtles DVDs have been fine.

I'm not sure if mine does this because I haven't watched it yet, but I'm pretty sure those mistakes were made in animation. If you watch a lot of the old cartoon you will see a ton of mistakes, like wrong headband colors, wrong voices to wrong characters, and probably a lot more if you searched for them.

So I don't think the problem is with the dvd

That reminds me... I noticed in volume 6 that, during the episode "The Turtle Terminator," the animation completely freezes for a short (but very noticeable) time at two different points in the episode. Does anyone have the VHS release of this episode to confirm whether or not the same thing happened there?

I have it on VHS but not with me, however I have it on my PC as well and I didn't see it. Though the PC one is from a dutch release. So it might just be the DVD.

all I ever notice is brite streaks of light that flash every so often at the very top of the screen. But other than that every thing seems alright.
