Anti-Gravity Boots...?
 

Okay, so right now I'm watching "Enter the Rat King" from the old toon and the TMNT are climbing up the side of the Channel 6 building. Raphael comments on how April needs a ground-floor office and then Donatello says something to the effect of "I wish we had those anti-gravity boots from episode 6" or something like that.

Now, I think back to the 6th episode of the series and I remember battering rams, construction equipment with teeth, Baxter Stockman, "World War XI", crooks dressed up as the TMNT fighting the real TMNT in a junkyard, Shredder taking on a couple muggers, etc. But I don't remember anti-gravity boots.

Anyone want to help me out here? Maybe I'm misinterpreting what Donatello means by "episode 6"... That, or I'm just looking too deeply into a 4th Wall joke.

The anti gravity boots were from Sky Turtles though I have no idea why they said episode 6. Maybe they meant Season 3 episode 6 (keep in mind the "official" episode guide is far from accurate.)

I second that. I always just assumed they were referring to "SKY TURTLES", but the writers were just unable to determine what number that ep was going to be.

They probably assumed that no kid would ever think into it this much.

But I guess they never thought about us kids.

it was definitely referring to sky turtles, i would know cuz i seen that episode enough cuz i had that episode that was one of those "Burger King" boxes, and i would agree, they just totally pulled an episode number out of their butt, kids arent gonna know any better, but they could pick up on the reference to another show

if i had anti-gravity boots i would :

1: walk on roofs

and

2: leap great buildings in a single bound
