How did the ninja turtles get all their stuff from?
The ninja turtle had tons of human stuff like chairs and tables, how did they get it. An also how did they get pizza and other food for them to survive. answer these question
Eh...i guess they eventually got em from dumps or whatever...
As for the food, well they either stole it or had april bring food or something, in the toon they had masks so they could actually go shopping, now where they get their money from, i have no idea, stole em from the baddies they beated, i guess. |
:D You'd be amazed how much you can find when you know where to look.
I think the common idea is, pretty much, that they've sort of scavenged -- the sewer tunnels, dumpsters, dumpsites. People throw out all sorts of stuff that's still good. Like the saying goes "One man's trash is another man's treasure." As for food, etc, I imagine you could find a lot of money in the storm sewers. I mean, how many NewYorkers have lost a dollar or two or twenty? And how many people are there going to be traipsing around the sewer tunnels looking for that lost cash? |
That is never really explained... Not that it matters too much.
its a cartoon
No it's a comic....
and a cartoon
...and a movie... and another movie... and another movie...
Ok you win it's both...
But a lot of things in the cartoon doesn't make sense, But Mirage is realistic, and therefor it would be interesting to know how they came along beofre they met April... |
well, since it started out as a parody, that kinda stuff really didnt matter. now after it got popular, they prolly tried to be realistic from there on out, but still used the assumptions of the first issue, such as they already had some furnishings, weapons, a little money, etc.
but yeah, if for some reason you are just DYING to hvae an answer to this, instead of taking it as just a great piece of fiction that it is, then just say they scavenged the sewers and dumps for it =) |
In the cartoon series, they got all their stuff from spare parts left by Baxter and were later made into stuff by Donatello, athankyaverymuch.
Well It doesn't really matter. And it will probably remain as a big mystery...
hmmmm
Well, in the Mirage series Splinter probably 'inherited' a lot of their stuff from Hamato Yoshi (meaning he stole it from the apartment----well, technically, it IS his stuff).
Maybe... But how much time had passed since Yoshi's death and Splinters's mutation?
hmmmmm
The comic seemed to imply a very short time had passed. I got the idea like it was only a few days later.
Yeah. I guess Splinter wouldn't have survived a very long time, after all he was a house pet.
Well, if you read the TMNT Letters at ninjaturtles.com, they explained that they got their money by selling the rights to their life story. :D
Though a "within universe" explanation I always used was finding spare cash and valuables in storm drains. Of course the "things" they have, like furniture, can be dragged in from any salvage yard. You'd be surprised by the good junk people just throw away. |
stuff
Now that I think about it, I guess they got their stuff from dumps and other places. They are pretty resourceful dudes aren't they? With Donatello's handiness with electronics, they probably were never without something cool.
As for the money, I guess there's no explaination really. The losing money in the sewer theory works for me I guess. :D The TMNT would never steal...or at least that's not the nature they portray. I mean they got their food free that one time for saving that woman at the store. Take down some thugs and the food's on the house...guess that's not a bad deal. Well...they did steal Baxter's van and use his lab for stuff like the blimp. But I guess since Baxter never came back for it, the stuff was up for grabs...maybe. |
ya would think that april would help them out..after all how many times have they saved her life..
How about the weapons? Did they find a bunch of katanas in a storm drain? :P
