Japanese Metal Mutants TMNT figure line(Playmates, 1995)
OMG! Thanks to heretic888, I finally know what this is...
http://www.toyarchive.com/TMNT/Japan...ntLeoMISB.html Oh fellow turtle fans, you have NO IDEA how elated this makes me. For years Ive been trying to figure out what the heck this figure was(Leonardo) as I couldnt find comparison shots of it in any TMNT price guide. All I knew was that it was 4", Playmates, 1995. But wow.... Ok, big question: Does anyone on here have any more info on this line, any in their collection, or know where to find these 4 TMNT figures? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Ever since I caught sight of this line it just blew me away, and made me realize how much better these looked in scale than the US Playmates line. |
hmmmm
The 'metal mutant' ninja turtle line was actually sold here in america (leo had the power of dragon, raph the phoenix, don the bear, and mike the beetle) around the same time the supermutant line was.

Oh my your right! Ack...
http://www.ninjaturtles.com/toys/1995.htm All 5 listed there. Ok, does *anyone* on here have an extra set or any of these loose? |
They're a little difficult to find. www.ebay.com is the best place to find what you're looking for. You could always set ebay to search auctions for you, then notify you by email when it finds auctions containing 'Metal Mutants' in the title/description.

The Metal Mutant line is one of my faves. It's two toys in one. It's neat how you form the animals using all the armor pieces. :D |
