At a recent Konami press event, we had a chance to check out a brief video presentation of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game currently in development for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube. The game will be based on the brand-new cartoon that will start airing on the Fox network this February, and as such, all the characters in the game will be modeled after their cartoon counterparts, complete with what appears to be a cel-shaded look. The game will feature all the turtles, including Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, as well as various villains in the Ninja Turtle universe, such as Shredder and the Foot Clan and the screenshots look badass so far go check em out at gamespot.com

and that some what blurry pic you see of mikey w/ his nunchucks is not from a cutscene that is what cel shading in game graphics look like! :o I can't believe some of you guys on the board wanted it to be all old school 2d scroll fighter :roll: especially in this day and age w/ high powered graphic systems.

I LOVE Cell Shading so i couldn't be happier...i'm glad to know it is actually an in-game screenshot, it looks great.

Yay! Cell shaded (me likes cell shading) and 3D. I echo your sentiments, why would you want a 2D game when you can have (far superior) 3D? There isn't any good reason!

I do like 2d games, it's just that i've already had enough 2d tmnt games and since i've always wanted to see the tmnt in 3d... :D

It's a very basic trailer with still pictures moving around. I'm still psyched about this game! It looks so awesome!

Dang, i couldnt see the trailer since i gotta pay to download (NEVER ;p ) and the streaming aint working, but if it's so basic i guess the pics will do.

It is looking very good. And for you 2d wishers, there is a GBA game coming.

WOW. This game is gonna look JUST like the cartoon.

And if the Game Boy version is like Turtles In Time for the SNES that game will be awesome too.
