Dimension X: Dimension or Galaxy?

So i was reading the Dimension X wiki entry (here)

And i thought it'd be a nice debate to spark up.

Sophism Take 1
In "Plan 6 from Outer Space", Bebop and Rocksteady want to use the Channel 6 building as a rocket to dimension X, right? So I think Dimension X is broadly spacial, yet can be accessed most conveniently through dimensionally "warping".

Or in the case of "the Ninja Sword of Nowhere", perhaps Dimension X is a dimension with easy access to other spacial points of the universe if you know where to look.

Did that make any sense? :ohwell:
Frankly, I'm not convinced of my own logic.:dead:

Sophism Take 2
Krang uses a portal to warp from Earth to Dimension X and vice versa. Thus, perhaps it's wholly separate from Earth's universe. Maybe the rocket ship bit was only to get the building to a convenient height from which to access a dimensional portal. Dim. X certainly shouldn't be confused with the "Nowhere" dimension since Dim. X has population, technology, and waring factions. Yet, even in Ninja Sword of Nowhere, the alien ship ascends before it opens the dimensional portal, from which we assume it opens a second portal in order to warp to the alien homeworld.

I think I'm gonna be sick.

I don't know, but the operator can put you through to Dimension ex in the episode Plan six from outer space, oh and yes, they have alien-express cards :)

Dimension X is like New Jersey but with fewer off ramps.

I still don't know how i stand on it, i think i like to keep it as a 'different' dimension, i'm a little rusty on my quantum physics but i'm going to do some research again because both might be possible, like accessing a differnt dimension through a wormhole making the 'galaxy' reference make more sense?

The following is from the TMNT Adventures Sourcebook:

Demension X is a corkscrew spiral galaxy near the center of the universe. One of the oldest galaxies in existence, it's history is a rich tapestry that weaves together many worlds and races, countless conflicts, and some of the most colourful characters known to the TMNT.
