which do you prefer the turtles being referred to as.. TMNT or the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for the people who aren't hardcore fans and might not know what TMNT means

I've always liked "the Turtles."

I like TMNT. It's more broader, and they can grow now, and really not have to worry about being teenagers forever. They can now be also know as twentysomething or thirtysomething mutant ninja turtles!:D

I always say Ninja Turtles, but when I'm on here I used TMNT because I'm lazy.

TMNT sounds good to me. On occasions when I'm feeling particularly spiffy, I'll use "the terrapin quartet." :)

I like TMNT, just cause it's easy to spell, but I think in normal conversation I stick to Ninja Turtles. With my fellow geek pal Bob I say TMNT.

Jo and I also coined a phrase for TMNT (or other fandoms) fan-fics. We call them TMNT enthusiast literature.

Definitely TMNT. Letters are alot easier to say than the entire title, especially when in conversation. If I try to say 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' it sounds slapped together and I have to repeat myself because the person didn't understand me. This could also be because I have a speech impediment, but WHATEVER.

TMNT. Or as I say to my friends ''les tortues ninja'' ;)

Amongst hardcore TMNT fans I use TMNT because I doubt there'll be any confusion. Otherwise I just say "Ninja Turtles" or "the Turtles" or "Turtles".

Well for a lazy girl like myself I usually go with TMNT. The only people I ever talk about them to are my rents and friends, so they usually know what I'm talking about.
