American Aussies who import DVD's, help needed!
Hey all,
I need some help from our Australian Members here....especially those who import DVD's... http://www.ezydvd.com.au/item.zml/791180 26.83 Australian Dollars, Plus 18.00 shipping fee for international orders. Assuming BOTH those prices are in Aus. dollars, what would the total be in US Dollars? This is going to be one expensive import DVD, but for now, it'll be worth it.. Good thing I don't do this that often. |
I don't have a link off-hand, but Yahoo and countless other websites have money conversion calculators.

And then, of course, there's also the fact of the ep. "Ninja Tribunal" not being on that Set.

It makes no sense at all, it's like going to see a movie with the first fifteen minutes cut. |
Probably because some silly exec sold the 12 new episodes as the unaired season and neglected to mention that the Season 4 finale was essentially the pilot to the whole story arc (heck I doubt they even knew).
This was mentioned to Murphy back when it was first announced and he was posting here and he said he would see if he could suggest adding Ninja Tribunal. He never said anything so I don't know if he asked or not, but even if he did it was likely too late hence we get the set without the pilot. Thank goodness for internet downloads. What really sucks is that now they're doing 1/2 season sets in the US, they will probably end up puting Ninja Tribunal on the 2nd Season 4 volume and release a 12 episode TLS collection like this one leaving loyal fans who have bought all the DVDs so far forced to either rebuy at least the new Season 4 Part 2 or not have Ninja Tribunal on DVD. I've chosen to download it and make my own DVD (with the help of a friend who knows how to make an MPEG into something that I can burn onto DVD and watch on my TV). IF the US release is 13 episodes with Ninja Tribunal (and hopefully some special features and maybe Peter Laird interview about the season, why it was cut, maybe script or story boards for Nightmares Recycled, etc) then I'll double dip and buy it again. But with US only getting Season 1 Parts 1+2 this year it could be a year or so before the US DVDs get to TLS now. |
