Tmnt - Tmht?

Remember the old teenage mutant Hero Turtles europe got long ago? Will they do this again?

kerfootw 03-25-2007 04:22 PM

Oh boy! Do we really need this here?

Warhorse 03-25-2007 04:24 PM

I sure hope not. These people need to freaking grow up some time and worry about real world issues and not what kind of title a movie has.

Mecha Cow 03-25-2007 04:26 PM

They won't.

LogicDonny 03-25-2007 04:27 PM

well it is something I remember.

Nah.. in Europe the old series is TMHT and the new series is TMNT.

They re-released the movies in the UK a while back with all the unedited stuff (IE mikey having nunchucks). But the UK has since banned swords. In Norway nunchucks are still a major nono.

Well they're banned here as in you can't buy them unless you have a legitimate reason to own one... can't think of one myself... let's just hope no one sees me practising with mine anytime soon :) Anyway, it doesn't mean we don't see Leo swinging his katana around in the cartoons/movies.

I doubt TMHT will make a return. Censorship realised what a daft idea that was.

I'm not surprised. Those things are lethal. It's the one weapon I can't get to grips with -_-

Why are ninja weapons banned but guns get to be onscreen? Weapons are dangerous. Hence the name "weapons." People are dumb.

Galactus 03-25-2007 07:23 PM

I don't know about the rest of the Europe but in the UK the movies were always known as Ninja Turtles. It was only the cartoon and related merchendise that was renamed Hero Turtles.

The 2k3 cartoon was known as Ninja Turtles and the new movie too. As far as I know it's Ninja all across the world.

"Hello, I'm the FOX censor. It's my job to protect you from reality."

Depends on a country. Some had "Hero", some had "Ninja". Some of them even omitted "Teenage Mutant" and added their own adjectives to describe this pack of chelonian heroes.
