Best of Archie

I've been thinking of expanding on my Archie TMNT collection but I'd like to know what are some of the best of the series?

There really aren't any parts of the series you can go wrong with. But for me the real turning point was with issue number 42, which starts the Future Shark Trilogy. Everything from that point on was genius.

I agree 100%

Most anything with Slash in it is gold.

R.I.P. Slash!:tcry:

Yeah, Slash was by far, the most badass side character in Archie and is one of the best in general.

Does anyone know all the issues Slash was in?

I think I only have 55 and 57, guess I have some catching up to do. Is Slash's intro interesting or is it like the old cartoon/early Archie?

Jester 03-29-2007 09:57 PM

It's quite diffrent, Krang discovers him on a planet and he brings him to earth with another alien named Belly Bomb. There quite an interesting read. I wish I still had all my Archie comics.

I was thinking about going to ebay to pick up a lot of these issues since I hear so many good things about them and the only ones I ever owned were two of the future cyber-turtle'ish type episodes(which anyone interested in tmnt should check out), but I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere online that I could read or...ahem...find any of these issues before blowing money on them...if so could you please PM me? Thanks.

Though not whole-issues routine, ninjaturtles.com typically shows 4 pages from each issue in their Comic Guide section. So could start with seeing how they are that way.

Almost forgot that you could do that. I think I will right now. Thank's Jon!

I just looked at some of my tiny collection and I think Slash shows up in 59 and 60 as well.

You're welcome.

Also will note while replying, I got the Archie TMNT Comic series when it was coming out (started when they were at issue 20, or there-abouts, so had to back track for the ones before it). But have all the issues (including the various Mini-Series, Specials, etc.).
