TMNT episodes you'll never watch again
So far I know of 3 episodes from the OT that I will never watch again:
Case of the Hot Kimono (Raph had some funny lines here, but pretty whacky episode, not fun at all) Turtle Terminator (:x I really, really HATE this episode, it is soooo bad, it's Irma-focused, it has 2, count 'em TWO, alternate voices I can hardly stand one. Worst of all it just plain sucks) Mr. Ogg Goes to Town (If I wanna hear crap like this, I'll watch Pee Wee's Playhouse) Other than these 3 abominations, I love the first 3 seasons of the OT (even if a few things that go on in other episodes are hard to swallow at times). Which episodes peeve you the most? |
Turtle Terminator was dreadful, I hated that episode too, another one that springs to mind had Aprils Aunt as some sort of miss Marple type detective, that was utter shite, and the most unTMNT thing I've ever seen.
|
Yea that's case of the hot kimono, and it is VERY un-tmnt.
|
Any episode featuring the Neutrinos(don't think I spelt that right) was another one to forget, never liked those characters.
|
I didn't like them much either, they really brought down the first season with their one episode. But I love "The Grybyx", mainly because we see a Leo vs. Shedder fight, but it's still a good episode.
|
Michelangelo Toys Around is one I would add. This one's dreadful.
|
Hopefully I'll never have the misfortune of watching the worst TMNT episode ever, Artless, ever again. You think those season 3 episodes were bad, Artless makes them look great. It's just plain painful to watch.

Case of the Hot Kimono wasn't all that great... but Aunt Aggie's second appearance, 'Sleuth on the Loose' is one of my favorite TMNT episodes of all time. It also showed a fat person who was compitant, didn't gouge themselves with food, and wasn't comic relief :), unlike say, the Chris Farley fat type that usually gets portrayed in media :).
As for episodes I hate.... Elementry my Dear Turtle. The entire thing didn't make sense, and felt like a whole chunk was missing. The part where they mention following crooks on the train roof, but this is never seen. Why are April, Burn, and Vernon all in England and speaking with British accents? Weak fight scenes even for this series. The one with Moriarty and Holmes is laughable. Northern Lights Out - Bad Dialouge, slow plot. Not very fun at all. I can put up with almost every episode in this series, even ones with terrible alternate voices...but these two nothing short of a rewrite can fix. |
I agree. Actually, the European vacation episodes as a whole are some of my least favorite episodes in the entire series. Forgot about those.
|
from the ones i can remember:
Donatello's bad time: unsure if this is the title, but its the one wher esome rednecks steal the turtle van. Not thaat bad, but being a Don fan it pains me Turtle terminator: irma-centric, really boring/dry for the guys, and rpahs alternate va is really bad. sky turtles: maybe its just me, i felt this was vety blah, i fell asleep. |

Anything involving the Next Mutation, with the exception of if I ever get nostalgic for Rangers in Space (the Yellow Ranger was pretty cute).
Other than that though, never say never if I get bored enough. |
SAINW, everything else is fine.

"The Grybyx".I hate this episode!
"The Grybyx".Mrzim ovu epizodu! |
From the 03 toon:
Any thing with the justice force: I know this show is a cartoon, but don't shoot me when I say the JF makes this show feel.... really cartoony:ohwell: Wing and Prayer: Biggest filler EVER! The Trouble With Augie: I would have killed someone if April said "Uncle Augie" one more time. garbage episode. Theres a few FF eps. that are toilet-worthy, but I'll get to them later. |
There are quite a few episodes I would not care to watch again, so I will comment on those already mentioned with some dishonourable other mentions.
I honestly didn't think The Turtle Terminator was so bad an episode. Yes, the unusually high amount of alternate voices spoiled it a little and the use of mirrors to defeat the robot was daft, but it had plenty of comedy and a great sting in the tail by sending it back to the technodrome. (Although the availability of a transport module for the robot can be added to the convenient endings.) Mr Ogg Goes To Town was one of my least favourites from season three - a letdown by David Wise on that occasion. The majority of the European Vacation episodes were dire. Convicts of Dimension X (from season 7) - A whole string of crimes in this episode. For starters, the words Dimension X make you think it is going to be an S&K episode. When it turns out not to be, at least make the characters memorable! Only watched it very recently and I have forgotten the story already. I can't comment on other later seasons as I haven't seen tapes, but one thing I notice from the 7th is that episodes are rushed, more is loaded into episodes and the endings are sudden to accommodate this. Also, some of the speech of Krang and the baddies are rushed, so the story moves faster. It gives less time to digest the humour and interaction between the villains. |

Both the episodes with Irma's "friend" Howie....god I wanted to strangle that guy.

I'm going to have to step forward and defend Case of the Hot Kimono, for the simple reason it has one of my all time favorite Splinter lines in it. "Please, do not call me mister. Call me Master." (I'm so mature >.>) What I couldn't stand was those damn frogs >.< Yeah...you heard me! |
