I took the liberty of looking online and finding some classic Ninja Turtles video game images:

Revan 04-27-2007 08:32 PM

are you going to post them or are you just letting us know you searched for some?

DonatelloDomeHead31 04-27-2007 08:33 PM

Y'know, MAME lets you take all the screenshots you want. Just sayin'.

I feel like this thread needs some original content if it is going to have some endurance. Here is the first in a series of custom amalgamations of Old Toon backgrounds and Konami sprites. My aim is to create scenes out of the combination.

Maybe this image I posted in the Video Game subforum earlier would suffice.

Nice variation on a familiar theme!
Have you done any with all four turtles?

Ooh, looks awesome!

Of course... the background makes them look really tiny, proportionately speaking...

Donatello and Splinter watch a titanic battle in NYC streets.

I don't have MAME, sorry; but thanks for adding to this thread. these images look good.

You know what's sad? I had the first game. I played the first game. I know I saw the fire at the bottom of the screen. I don't think I ever registered that that meant the building was on fire.

That would be the second game

Thanks. Actually, it was just a 10-minute mockup in Paint to illustrate a point.

Here's another one I finished.

Donatello gets by with a little help from his friends.

I must know, where are you finding these sprites? these video game images look like the next ninja turtles classic game and captured at the right moment.

There are a few sites that offer sprites from various old games. Like this one:
http://www.gsarchives.net/index2.php...ll&system=snes

Also, one of the forum members started their own TMNT emulation project and created a site with sprites for download. Most of the arcade sprites in my pictures came from that site.

i must admit the perspectives seem a bit off.

but it's a pretty cool concept you've got going here.
