*claps maniacally* YAY!!!

I'm SO excited! *hops up and down*

....Jeez, they've got huge heads  ....

PipingPringle 05-23-2007 06:03 PM

:S r-really? So.. cute! I agree with the first two being Leo and Raph, but I perceived Mikey and Then Donnie in the back! not sure why >.>

DrSpengler 05-23-2007 06:19 PM

Oh man, they've gotten all anime super deformed.

Still, I love Toddler Turtle stories for reasons I cannot understand. They need their proper toddler turtle bandanas, though.

MAN, I love Tales!

Andrew NDB 05-23-2007 07:32 PM

We've seen toddler Turtles before Tales...

Kunoichi_Haruko 05-23-2007 07:34 PM

Whoa. Which issue is that from?

Scandia 05-23-2007 07:49 PM

Yippee! Toddler Turtles! Can't get enough of them!

I am confused as to why the regular bandannas instead of the toddler ones.

Wonderfulll let's just waste more time making short parts of the episode of 2k3 into issues of the mirage books...
And lord I really hope the toddler turtles aren't as annoying and buck toothed as they where in the lost season.:dead:

Spitfire 05-23-2007 07:52 PM

Ugh, I want every issue but I'm seriously thinking of skipping this one.

Image Comics Big Bang Comics where the nightwatchman has a run in with the toddlet turtles and shredder.

Yeah, they should have skullcaps, and their kneepads and such should have the round plastic caps.

Should be good fun, though.

My scan is from Big Bang Comics #10. We also see Oroku Saki with a girlfriend (or at least a fling)

That's a fairly good assesment I'd say, just judging from the expressions on their faces. Using your examples, Leo looks adventurous/smug, Raph is brooding way early for his age, and Mikey looks as playful as ever.

Heeeeyyy... you know, that's a good point... :ohwell:

But yeah. This looks too cute.

odupianist 05-24-2007 06:49 AM

I agree with the Raph Don placement, but I think Mike could be in the foreground. That's just me though, maybe I'm a bit biased lol

im surprised no one has mentioned "tales of the tmnt volume 2 issue #25" that had a mini story of the toddler tmnt.

Spoiler:
where toddler mikey is drawing comics of himself as a a normal human child interacting topside. at first splinter scolds him cause he cant have such thoughts, but then discovers there is potential to it and supports his drawing hobby

pic from that toddler story i just mentioned here-

I think it's cool that the Toddler MNT are (apparently) going to run into Leatherhead. I wonder if LH will be his hotheaded fly-off-the-handle self while still living with the Utroms?

They didn't say it was leathered...it's not good to asume things because you'll just set yourself up for a disappointment.
I mean hell if it is him well I say color me suprised because I bet you anything they are just going to turn that small segment from the 2k3 cartoon where leo and raph meet that giant white gator in the sewers into an issue of tales.

CylonsKlingonsDaleksOhMy 05-25-2007 12:41 PM

Yeah, but some white croc isn't unique. And, Leatherhead mutated about the same time as the TMNT (I would suppose), and became a member of the Utroms' family. We also know that the Utrom TCRI security guys ran patrols in the sewers from time to time. (Two TCRI workers found the injured Splinter in the sewers in TMNT Vol. 1, #3.)

I think it likely that the Utroms would allow Leatherhead to mosey around the sewers occasionally, and I also think it likely that LH could have run into the TMNT before the events of Tales of the TMNT (Vol. 1) #6.

I rest my case, and I'll bet you a mango it's Leatherhead.

no thanks mangos are disgusting...and It just wouldn't make sence really was leaterhead even remotly created the same time the turtles had been?
I just dont like how much of 2k3 is being turned into part of the mirage world.
I like having everything being differnt worlds.
And Leatherhead is a crock isn't he not a gator? so thats why I don't think it's him because they say gator not crock.*shruggs*
I mean hell I'd be happy if it was him but I think it would screw up the story quite a bit.
Sort of like how I dont really want to know rat kings history I like him not having a story it adds so much to his character.:dead:

CylonsKlingonsDaleksOhMy 05-25-2007 02:29 PM

I like the cartoon following the comics, but I don't want the comics following the cartoon, so I agree with you.

As for croc or gator, I have no idea which Leatherhead is. I wonder if Mirage even knows.

And as for Rat King, I suspect that Tales #35 won't be able to do justice to his character. Rat King is an enigma. He always was an engima. If they explain him, they will take away from his character.

Unless of course they pull off something really surprising. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I feel the same way, too.

However, I think it's a bit early to assume this issue actually does have anything to do with the 2K3 series.. so I'd wait to pass judgment on it until we've actually read it.
