I'm sorry, but I really think this idea is lame. Has there even been one issue of Tales where Raph gets to go out with Casey and bust heads? Seems to me it's just been funky shanghai-ing aliens (#28 ), werewolf pop singers (#7), and giant bugs (#17).

At least there've been issues like #12 (Paris Nocturne) and #8 "Virus".

So Raph goes to the future depicted in the RPG's??? :ohwell:

Um I think it has onlt to do with wolves in this new tales issue.
The rpgs deal with everyone being mutated and all kinds of animals.

They do mention it being other animals as well in other definitions but one would asume its wolves considering the cover of the issue.

Those aren't wolves, they're cats! Look at the facial features. They have the nose of a wild cat, cat ears, and the jaws remind me of a black panther.

That one on the right of the cover actually really reminds me of Bat-Splinter from Vol. 3.

This is undoubtedly where that cat guy who was at Splinter's funeral came from.

I think it's pretty obviously meant to be werewolves. Just a few creative liberties are taken so as not to just necessarily make them look like this :

Raph gets bitten by Vamps and becomes a Gamera....

Raph gets bitten by werewolves and becomes a hairy turtle. :lol:

Several years ago there was a series of action figures of the turtles done as Universal Studios monsters. Leo was the werewolf, Don was Dracula (I have that one), Mike was Frankenstein, and Raph was the Mummy.

So Raph's pretty much been just about every movie monster now. :lol:

Don't forget the second series of those figures Raph was a space alien mutant lol, leo was the creature, mike was the inviso man, and april was the bride.

Raph was the Metaluna Mutant from the movie This Island Earth, which was the movie riffed on for the MST3K movie. [/geek][/dork][/nerd]

I'm very hopeful for this issue. After all, it's got Dan Berger's involvement!

Looks like he literally sprouts green fur... and is that ears? Creepy. I'm sure it'll be an interesting read.

No ears just the green fur. Now will he be as soft as my build a bear turtles (Raph and Don)??? :lol:

You sure? Looks like what may be a furry ear kind of coming down over the side of his bandanna on that cover.
