Something I have always wanted to see

Imagine if somehow episodes of the OT were remade as 2k3 episodes, with 2k3 voice actors and locations but with exact dialouge and what not from the original episode. Seeing 2k3 episodes done as OT episodes would be cool too. I started picturing this in my head a few weeks ago now that i've watched all my DVD and VHS tmnt episodes a thousand times, I know it's impossilbe that this will really happen but it's still awesome.

So basically shredder/krang combo and cheesy humor meeting darker style and more mature ninja action?

Sounds awesome, i would pay for that one if the turtles would keep their pupils
(you know, turtles without pupils just look wrong to me).

I think I would laugh myself to death. Can ya picture 2k3 Shredder saying some of those lines? I'm not even gonna go on my Casey rant.

Revan 06-19-2007 02:39 PM

"Alright Shredder... This... is... it!"

I wish they would have thrown that in at least one 2k3 episode. I suppose it's just too silly. That is my favorite Raph line from the OT. I always hear it in my head at random times. :ohwell:

It would be fun to see some OT characters thrown into the NT's episodes. Like Irma, Vernon, and Burne.

No offense... but I'd rather watch FF than have 2K3 be sullied by any of that. And we all know how I feel about that.

Not my cup of tea.

Rooish 06-19-2007 05:48 PM

That would be hilarious ... everyone would be completely out of character, especially Raph and Mike and Shredder and ... well everyone! I cannot imagine NT Raph cracking some of his OT lines.

Scandia 06-19-2007 05:58 PM

Actually I can. It would provide some balance to NT Raphael without being totally OOC.

Drtooth 06-20-2007 09:30 AM

As I've said a million times before, I'd love to see a TMNT episode in which they somehow have to react to their 1980's selves. Sort of like, has anyone ever seen the Chipmunks go to the Movies episode called "Back to Alvin's Future?"

Sage Ninja 06-20-2007 09:55 AM

people, just watch the first few episodes of season one. All the turtles (with the excption of Raphael) acted vaguely like their old toon counter-parts until the new show evolved into its own thing and the turtles new personas became more fleshed out. :)

watch Aliens Among Us thats a 2k3 episode that has Raphael making sarcastic quips in a old toon Raphael-esch way, and even pointing out all of Dontello's screw-ups in the same way Raphael did in the old toon.

OT Raph was prone to cheesy lines. Definitely out of character for NT Raph. NT Raph balances himself in various ways. Thinking he is a comedian will never be one of them.

Good point, but not the point. I just would love to see the contrasting art designs and character voices, and of course they act vaguuely like the OT turtles, they're the same characters...

I just realized that I also wanna see the movies in 2k3 or OT animation, that would be even cooler.

MrPliggins 06-20-2007 09:11 PM

Might be good for a laugh.... but no...I don't think it would work out at all...completely different shows 'n all...fun thought though

Ninjinister 06-20-2007 10:16 PM

There are some OS 'toon characters that I would love to see 2K3-ized, such as Muckman and Joe Eyeball, Mutagen Man, and Wingnut and Screwloose.
