"The Ninja Tribunal" finally coming to DVD
 

...in Australia. :roll: On July 4th (adding insult to injury), Australia will be getting 4 DVDs comprising the entire 3rd and 4th seasons, ending with the only 2K3 episode never before available on DVD (in English, anyway), "The Ninja Tribunal".

I guess this makes sense considering the Season 5 release, but why is it so hard to put the 12 Ninja Tribunal episodes in a single collection? Why? :dead:

I will just hold onto the faith that all 12 of these episodes will be given a proper Region 1 release sometime next year after they air on Fox (sooner would be good, too).

Didn't I just read on a topic that Dan confirmed the Lost Season coming out on DVD in early 08?

I can't seem to find the post but I swear I read it.

It will be aired starting in early '08, but there's no confirmation yet on a DVD release.

I can't wait for this to come out on DVD! Waiting patiently, but dang it! I want it now!! :)

I knew that, and I found the post and I misread it.

I think instead of waiting until they reach the "fifth" season by the seasons part1/2 releases they'll go ahead release it as a 'lost" season shortly after it finishes its run on 4kids. so we should get all of Season 2 and the lost season by next summer. who knows maybe they'll speed up the season releases as well.

But we should get one eventually... right?

I would assume so, as it seems to be in everyone's best interest for there to be one.

that would be awesome. although, next year is a pretty damn long wait :(

I think the reason (or hope at least,) the Lost Season hasn't come out on DVD here yet stems from two reasons.

1. They want to air the episodes first.

2. They are releasing each season chronologically (season 1: part 2, season 2: part 1, etc...)

I kind of hope, even though it's already been released, they re-release season 4. I know we have the second half of season 4 on two discs, but re-release season 4 in two parts with new art resembling the comic book style of season 1, part 1 and 2.

I wouldn't be surprised if 4Kids kept the current "season 4" set and just labeled the first 11 episodes of season 4 "season 3 part 3." The set we already have is pretty complete, and it'd kinda suck to buy it again just to match cover art.

Pardon me for blaming Dan for the fact that every mention of this ep title seems to be confused with The Lost Season. -_- He's a very helpful and friendly guy, but I sure wish he'd stop giving people reason to confuse the episode with the story arc.

Yeah, they really just have to call it "Season 5" or "The Lost Season" so we recognize what we're talking about.

In any case I do think the "Ninja Tribunal" will be put on the new Season 4 half-sets when we get up to it.
