at last..i finally got a set i can open..thank god for kb..what would i do without you

been waiting for this for a long time since i heard new toys would be made!

now..on to the pics!

I'll start off with FOOT SOLDIER!

Probably the weakest figure of the bunch..but still a great fig..notcie a big change between the old and the new..the old one is a robot..the new one is a real person! The New one has a sweet crossbow!

In my opinion a very under-rated figure..not the best, but it is great. The robe actually isn't that bad! and he has seet weapons, an arror shooter, a sweet can that can be truned into a sword!!!...notice the HUG change from old to new...brown to grey...pink robe to brown..i like the old one better..but this one is pretty cool!

Now on to SHREDDER!!!!!

My 2nd favorite of the series...a while ago i didn't think i would like his updated...almost Cyborg appearance...but it looks GREAT TO ME!!!!
Aesome weapons too!...it is obvious the change from old to new!

now for the turtles...

great figure...awesome weapons..and he comes with a pully accessory so when you pull down the string, mikey moves up..it is pretty cool stuff...
and obviously, he is taller than the older version..as with all the turtles

an INREDIBLE sculpt...amazing....one of my favorites, and sweet weapons...there is sharp axes and knives you can put on the end of his bo's!...great figure!

now..probably a tons of peoples favorite..RAPH!!!!!

I love his sai's!!!...and he comes with an awesome accessory, some type of pully line that raph can slide down from..really cool!

been waiting for this for a long time...the best SCULPT!!!! in the series...incredible, and his swords are amazing..a little on the soft side, but oh well...he also comes with some awesome suction cups so he can stick to walls!!!!!

each turtle and bad guy came with some ninja stars, and splinter came with an ooze can

this line was great, this had a ton of expectation to live up to...but surpassed anything i could of ever dreamed!

I'll have to wait here in the Netherlands 'till some import comicshop gets the figs. But Illl have them in my grasp eventually.
I have al LOT of the old figures,

But just for the Retro feel I ordered a 1987Donatello MOC figure. as a close up for beginning with the new stuff...I bought it at mycomicshop.com for only $ 14

I didn't even notice until a couple days ago that the new figures are bigger, the I dug the old ones out of my closet to compare them. :trazz:

Yeah, they did give'em an extra inch. It's funny, cause in their old profile cards the turtles are listed at 4ft tall & the figures are 4 inches tall. Now, the profile cards list 'em at like 5 ft tall & the figures are 5 inches tall. Guess the turtles had a growth spurt or soemthing, :lol:

I recently compared my Wolfman Leo figure next to my new Raph figure & they're the same size. I guess only the original turtles are short. Heh, maybe getting lycanthropy & becomeing a werewolf makes you taller? :)

Cool comparison pictures BigThew. If you have the turtle van, you should compare it to the Battle Shell & see if there's a size difference.

So Shredder is taller than the TMNT. Good, I wouldn't want him to be 5 feet tall. I still can't find Shredder anywhere. :(

Eye of Sarnath: I think the original shredder was taller then the turtles, but Playmates just made him crouched so he'd fit on the blister card. Same thing with the Foot Soldiers, who, if you read their file cards, list them at being like 6 feet tall or so, yet they are hunched over. If you could some how straighten them out they'd be alot bigger then the turtles.

Leatherhead is another prime example of shrinking to fit on the blister card. They should have just sold him in a box, or on a bigger blister & made him at least 6-7 inches long- kids would have still bought it.

I don't hate you, I'll be your friend instead! Maybe then you'll send me some toys (ha ha). The toys look great, I can't wait till I get mine, especially Shredder. I wish that instead of having all the turtle heads on the Shredder boxes they had ... the Shredder head (or Footsoldier for that box). That would be sweet.
