PICS of my almost finished Raphael Commisioned head by a professional FX artist.
 

Here are some pics of the nre Raphael Head display I commissioned which is almost finished and just needs the cloth bandanna applied. He is made of silicone and features hand made eyes the same way they did it in the movie's which are inserted into the head and the teeth are made out of some sort of acrylic like material. The paint job is representing that of part 1 movie which I love and think the artist has done an amazing job and the head is accurate to the size of what they were in the first movie plus Raph's scar is there. I will get the head with in a week and show pics of the final piece. Let me know what you all think please. Thank you and enjoy. :)

Here are 2 more pics one from another angle and the other showing the bandanna painted red but the actual covering of the bandanna will be a special cloth pulled tight over the bandanna like they did it in the movie. Double Click on the pics to make them bigger. :)

Thanks, he is going to have the real bandanna applied any day now so I will update with new pics when that happens. I am so please with this piece and am amazed with the quality of the artists work.

Yeha the first head I had made was from an unexperienced artist that I took a chance with and was not impressed at all with the look or paint job infact the pics made it look better then it really was. This head is in another league from the previous one and I actually think this artist could make the costumes for the movies he's that good. :)

Wow that was fast! You sure got a new head in a short amount of time and I have to say this one is much improved. I want one!

Yeah this one is way more realistic and movie quality. I dont have it yet because he still has to put the bandanna on. I cant wait to see the final product and I will update pics. :) thanks for all the great feedback.

Me personally, I'd have to save up and have a whole turtle made. It would freak me out to just have a head sitting there...:o

Its pretty amazing how he got the paint job to look almost exactly like it does in the first film because that cant be easy. :)

Sure after bargaining with the Artist I got him to do it for 1,000 dollars and then I would have to pay shipping on top of that. :)
