nightmare recycled

I am mad they cancelled nightmares recycled. couldnt they have rescripted it somehow!!!!!!!!! it did deal with conjoined twins as it had Hun and garbageman as conjoined twins. IT would have given us another Hun episode!!!!!!!!!! and more of a backstory to him!!!

isnt there a way for us to see it! I saw the other 12 episodes of the lost season on youtube.

Sewer Bull 07-23-2007 08:31 AM

You like starting new threads, don't you?

Revan 07-23-2007 06:52 PM

I believe it was never finished. I have heard different things about that ep. I think it is only half finished. Watchable but no background music and little to no coloration. I cannon remember where I read this. I think maybe tortuga posted it. Anyway, chances are not good on seeing it but then again I never expected a fourth TMNT movie so everything's possible.

There is no way to see the ep unless 4kids releases it on a dvd which may or may not happen.

ToTheNines 07-23-2007 07:42 PM

It was a filler episode of the lost season so there is no reason to worry about it, plus it seems like a dull concept anyways.

gobo 07-23-2007 08:00 PM

Garbageman has always been a garbage character. His garbagey lameness would be destroyed if this ep was ever even thought up. [SARCASM]Since his only usefulness is to give us something to roll our eyes at, letting this episode be discussed is stupid and pointless.[/SARCASM]

It's a filler to give background to a character people didn't like simply because he had no background in the first place?

You people really can never make up your minds. You bitch about something and then you get it and you still bitch.

ToTheNines 07-23-2007 08:10 PM

I liked the garbage man, he was a pretty cool filler baddie in my book. Reading the synopsis of this episode, it dosen't seem like something that is gonna haunt me. If Shredder Strikes Back had been cancelled during production.... now thats somthing that would piss me off in all kinds of ways.

I was just glad he was going to be given an origin he's sorta a loose end you know?

I mean they finally gave Nano a purpose. If you noticed Laird was going to do Nano and Garbage man in the Lost Season to give them closure and I believe that's because he knew fans hated those characters so he wanted to fix that.

I liked how Nano's story worked out so it worked on me. And Garbage mans sounds down right grim.

ToTheNines 07-23-2007 08:20 PM

I liked Nano's ending too, And I'm sure Nightmares Recycled would have been good, I'm just saying it's no biggie. If you look at the way FF goes, one could argue the the lost season isn't even canon with the series (I personally consider it canon, but I'm just saying).

I know you agree with me in saying TLS is cannon but I'm curious how could you argue it isn't?

There's LS stuff in FF like Nano in the Justice Force and Mikey's new Turtle Titian Costume. Plus I count their lightheartedness as a result of how happy they are that they saved the world.

I just realized that I'm totally wrong, in The Journal Leo goes to train with the tribunal. The only argument that could be made would be they don't use their super accolyte powers, dumb.

That's a good point but if you remember they needed their medallions to do them and they were destroyed in the last episode so they can't use them anymore.

odupianist 07-24-2007 09:09 AM

The question is, is Hun and Garbageman's relation canon or not for the series? :P It bugs me that they cancelled it, but I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I would have liked to see it though.

gobo 07-24-2007 10:04 AM

Unless they decide to write a different origin for Garbageman later on, we privvy can assume that's how it is.

creativerealms82 07-29-2007 07:51 PM

I really don't think this episode would have made Garbage man a better character, even with the Hun angle. I mean it's possible but I fear it would have hurt Hun more then it would have helped fat and stinky.

fastforwarddregg 07-29-2007 08:07 PM

it would have been a good way to closure the garbageman thing. IT would have been a good story to have more hun action as he was only in a few episodes in season 4. i would love to have seen the turtles reaction. they could have found a way to make hun and garbageman's origin less bad and more acceptable.

HOW DO YOU THINK GARBAGEMAN'S BREATH SMELLS???? AND IF THE TURTLES SHRUNK AND GOT IN HIS MOUTH WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THEY BREATHED IN THE AIR?

You've got some train of thought there, homie.

I'm actually disturbingly glad that we, the Technodrome Forums users and TMNT fans, are still able to come up with new original discussion topics that haven't been even touched before.

Thoughts?

General Traag 07-30-2007 02:56 PM

For a user with the names 'fastforward' and 'dregg' mixed together that's some deep thinking there.

:D

Perhaps but personally I don't think Hun is that amazing anyway and it would have been fun to see another ep especially one that explains one of the main villian's origin.
