Custom Mirage version Turtles
 

OK, so I am getting ready to start a custom project of the 4 Turtles, kinda like the statue set that was released a couple of years back. Now, does anyone have any suggestions about base Turtles I can use? Which heads from the vintage or new lines looks the most like the original Mirage Turtles?

I think the Ninja Action turtles look almost identical to Mirage volume 1. Those figs that do back flips and side flips or whatever. The heads look close. Their standing positions are goofy but the rest looks close.

that's what i was thinking. i know the bandanas would need repainting, but in the comic, are their skin colors different? Or the same shade of green?


Maybe I can do a head swap with some others, like put the Ninja action heads on the wave 1 2k3 bodies, repaint the masks and make the skin uniform in color....re-do Leo's scabbards, add a couple over the shoulder straps, and PRESTO!!!! whatcha think?

The new 2k3 line raph has that angry pissed off you dont want to mess with me look... I just posted I'd like to see mirage style from the first book TMNT figs.

The Graphic novel showed them having Brown skin Lighter then toy Don's Oh yea fergot u shold paint blood on Leos Katana(even though it's really a ninjaken)
