The Next Mutation - Vol.1, "Turtles Night Out" UK DVD

Number of discs: 3
DVD Release Date: 16 Jul 2007
Run Time: 221 minutes

With this info, I'm guessing it includes only nine eps, and one of them is ep 12 "Turtles Night Out". Also, I imagine it's starting from the beginning of the series since they're calling it Volume 1.

But, can anyone please confirm the eps included? Even if you've just seen it in stores, could you please jot down the eps? It's a bit too far away for me to do so. It would be greatly appreciated. I tire of having this occasional curiosity, but a friend would very much like to know. As for me, I might buy it, but only when I can get all 26 eps at once.

I've been looking for this info, too. :P

But I don't think it includes East Meets West! There is a separate DVD with a similar-looking cover that has just East Meets West. What I'm really hoping is that "Turtles' Night Out" is the first episode included in this set.

Not that I'd buy it if it was released here but why isn't this stuff coming out in the US?

Jon 07-25-2007 12:37 PM

Yeah, there have been other DVDs released in the UK that either haven't come out here or are just being released/announced for release in the US.

Stinks that it happens that way, but be good if finally does get released here.

Spitfire 07-25-2007 12:40 PM

Yeah they got the remaster of the first movie to. Which I can only assume will happen for us when it gets the HD transfer. And I expect it to. I was at Streetlight Records yesterday and I saw Popeye on HD-DVD is the f'ing Popeye movie is on HD-DVD the Turtles movies should be too.

Given the right player yes, you need a region free disk player. I know Rose found a 10 dollar playe ryou can make region free at Target or something so I'd PM her about it.

Buslady 07-25-2007 08:54 PM

you can get a region killer online to play it on your computer. thats how i do it. so far, worked everytimes

Leo's_Girl06 07-25-2007 09:00 PM

Are these episode on you tube? I have seen some on you tube but I am horrible at finding things on you tube. I would love to see Turtles night out.

Buslady 07-26-2007 09:12 AM

Tested with TNM UK DVD using WINDVD7; Region Killer works for Vista woohoo! But Vista's gotta go retro to use it.

Search "Region Killer" and links will pop up to down load it, it's a freebee. It's not updated anymore but it seems to work fine for me.

Now I want this "turtles night out" set, i wanna know if it has 'like brother' cos it sounded like a intense eppie for a bit. it sucks if they really put more effort into making the show for hte older audience and done a little better on the look it would havent have been so bad. and dump...her of course.

jenna 07-26-2007 12:08 PM

gobo, Rose, I bring sad... no-no, devastating news. I went to 3 different dvd retailers - major ones - today and not one had TNM (which indicates something about their expectation for it to sell), so I'm not able to report back about the episodes.

I have, however, placed my order with amazon.

I will report back in 4-6 weeks!!!! :D

In the meantime, anyone who is able to get hold of a copy, please feel free to take my position as the TNM episode reporter. :D

Sorry dudes.

Thanks for being willing to take the plunge on this one, Jenna!!

No problemo. It's an unusual occurrence for the UK to have something tmnt related that the US doesn't. Plus, at least it will satisfy this morbid curiosity I have about TNM (never seen it!)

The new next Mutation dvd

Is there a New Next Mutation dvd? With The Turtles night out episode? If anyone I would love to see that episode! Please pm me if you have it.

Thank you

I think I'm going to buy the lost season dvd. I think it's region 4. So I just download this region killer and run it while I play the region 4 dvds?
Is there a specific player you need to use in order to kill the region?

Roseangelo 08-31-2007 03:16 PM

According to a report in today's update from Dan, the 3-disc set does include only episodes 1-11. Alas...

But a good deal for anyone who doesn't have those yet! And maybe they'll release the rest of the series in a follow-up set?

Buslady 09-01-2007 10:40 AM

I don't get it- why can't they release this steady like the 2k3 and OT!?!? IT's always early eps, I wanna see later eps. I wanna torture myself I know, but it's still tmnt...in some weird alternate universe. :P
