Best Michaelangelo centric episode in season five?
 

Season five was a much shorter season compared to the larger season four season. As a result I think the animation was of better quality and there less less stupid mistakes like turtles being colored wrong or turtles speaking with the wrong voice. But not so big on action or on going story arcs.

But one of season fives saving graces was its character centric episodes that focused on one turtle of the turtles. Even though this season didn'thave as many character centric episodes in it due to its shorter length each turtle got about two or three character centric seasons. Michaelangelo in this season got three episodes dedicated to him. So people same drill as the season four "best turtle episode" thread. Which of these three episodes about Michaelangelo in this season showed him in his best light, or portrayed him at top form, or even which one was more entertaineing involving are favorite turtle in orange?

I was always a mondo gecko fan since I was a little guy. I thought he was a cool character. I would have to say Michelangelo meets mondo gecko since I like the gecko.

Mike meets bugman was ok. The shredder wannabe villian would have to be the only reason I didn't vote for it. That dude was so lame.
Mike the sacred turtle wasn't very good though. The only good thing I can remember is April dressed in those hot hot "entertainer" clothes.:)

Mondo's was really cool, and even tho it was a silly episode it's way better than the other 2.

I put "Michelangelo meets Mondo Gecko". He made a good friend in this episode with whom he has a lot in common. And it's cool to see Gecko's backstory. A good example of what would have happened to the Turtles if Splinter had been evil.

No brainer for me Michaelangelo meets Mondo Gecko simply because of Mondo Gecko.

For me its a toss up between Michaelangelo Meets Mondo Geko and Michaelangelo meets Bug Man Again since I thought they where both really great episodes. Michaelangelo the Sacred turtle is just the worst episoide ever :x I hate that episode :evil:.

But I think my vote has to go with the Mondo Geko one. I think that Mondo Geko is a great character with a pretty good back ground. I liked how his character was handled. But what really made this episode great was the chemistry between Michaelangelo and Mondo. These two where so alike but so diffrent, Michaelangello although a warrior/ninja master is pretty innocent and honarable and Mondo by comparison is sneaky and street smart, and how they where raised/trained on how to do things comes into stark contrast with each other. Their scenes where interesting and I enjoyed the slight rivalary that existed between them (although it really only lasted for one or two scenes). The Mondo vs. Michaelangelo dual was nice and you got to see a aggressive and competive side from Michaelangelo that is very rare, when he was trying to fight him. I thought the plot was pretty good and had some suspence in it, and I liked seeing Mondo's show of uncertainty of doing something bad when he really didn't have his heart in it. I also enjoyed how Michaelangelo hypnotised him and got him to tell him about his life, and how Michaelangelo was able to convince him to stop following that bad guy. It was cool becaise Michaelangelo finnally got the upper hand over Mondo and because he used it to help Mondo instead of defeat him. I liked Mondo and Mike became best friends after this and wished they had shown them more and developed their friendship more. Since Mondo is the perfect best buddy for Michaelangelo.

I voted for Michaelangelo meets Bugman again.

I also liked Michaelangelo Meets Bugman again episode. Personally I thought it was better than the first episoide with Bugman. This episode made alot more sence and had a better more urgent deleima in the plot than the first one. I like how this episide tried to make the events of the first bugman episide make better sence as to why exactly all of Bugmans secrets and idenity was public knowlege in a comic book series; which offered a more dire threat to the turtles if the same comic book guy where to get ahold of all their secrets and the loction of their home, where to be exposed in a comic book. A pretty legitamite threat to the turtles to have the same thing that happened to Bugman happen to them because of comic book guy. The whole taking over the city with metal eating termites was a bit ordinary for a tmnt episode but I liked the siitations it built up because of it. And the fact that Bugman was trying to handle his anger and be this peacful zen master, and Michaelangelo's frustration in trying to get him pissed off. A very good Michaelangelo centric episode which was much better than the first time he met Bugman.
