TMNT The Movie questions for experts....

1. Is there a song just for the theme song they play during the movie? If so, what is the name of it, and who composes it?

2. Is the DVD any good? All I have is a crappy VHS (Lost the cover, which was black.). Is there a widescreen version, does it have any bonus features, and are there trailers, and how much is it? So for so many questions.

Yes. Both widescreen and full screen are on the same disc. I believe it's that way with all 3 DVDs (because the only one I don't have is TMNT 2, and TMNT 3 has both versions on one disc)

No deleted scenes (yet), but it does include:

-New Line Family Previews (of movies already made)
-A "sewer maze" game
-"The T-Files", info on the characters

And that's it. :|

Yes, the same trailer as the one on the Burger King VHS tapes.

Everywhere I've been, it's been 10 dollars (US).

Thank you! I'm kinda sad there isn't any bonus features (Behind-the-scenes.) :( At least it has the cool trailer. $10!?!?!? :o I'm picking this up with my foot figures. :D

TMNT II on DVD id not double sided, but it does have the option for full or wide screen, like the others

Funny you should mention this, as i bought all 3 DVD's inthe past 2 days. In canada here they cost $25 each. The first DVD is double sided. I only watched it on the one side, so i dont know whats on the other. TMNT#2 has an option of wide screen or full screen when you load it up. And TMNT#3 I havent watched yet (or seen) but I will try to let you know whats up with it, if noone else does before me

I never said anything about them all being double-sided, I said they all have an either/or option :D

Double-sided? You mean you can put it in both ways?

mikemgmve 02-10-2003 10:54 AM

yeah, one side is full screen, one side is widescreen. The 2nd movie's formats is on the same side, so it's truly a widescreen film, and they use a digital zoom for the full screen, if you watch it that way. Im a bit of a dvd-phile, so I prefer widescreen anyway.

Also - I prefer DVD's in the amray's that most come in, however the first movie was released in a snap case, while the 2nd & 3rd are in normal white amrays. Or so I thought, until I saw the 1st one in an amray as well... DAMNIT!

Anyway... yeah, special features are pretty much bare. Lame games & a trailer, nothing all that valuable, which is why they all sell for $10 here.
