Which ep's of the classic cartoon do you recommend ?

I'm new here , btw , this is a great site :)

How many times did The Rat King appear ?

Thanks for lmk.

Welcome to the technodrome!! *gives Yoshi-san a mango of welcome*

I recommend the entire first season of the old cartoon, which is the 5 1987 episodes, namely Enter the Shredder, the best tmnt episode ever!!
I don't know, you can look that up in the episode guide for the old toon on the official site, I know he made his first apperence in Enter the Rat King in 1989, count from there I guess

Yes, the 5 part miniseries is the best of the old cartoon.

Looking back in retrospect, now I can see why people bash the old cartoon.

It'll still be pretty nostalgic for me, however.

I will never stop liking the first season. 8-10 were Ok too, but not nearly as good...

I reccomend the whole series

I believe they're were about 9 Rat King eps all thruout the series, but I could be wrong. I was just one Mirage's orig. TMNT cartoon ep list and I remebered the ones he's in. Or most of them anyway.

How many episodes with the rat king.... I'd have to think that one over.... let's see, he first appears in Enter: The Rat King, then in Return of the Fly, Pizza by the Shred, The Great Boldini, Leatherhead meets the Ratking, Were Rats from Channel Six, Splinter Vanishes, Donatello's Duplicate, Night of the Rouges, and Wraith of the Rat King.... I think that's all of them. Anyway I would also recommend the 1st season and 2nd season (except New York's Shiniest)... that was the best of TMNT in my opinion.

Recommended eps:

Turtle Tracks
Enter The Shredder
A Thing About Rats
Hot Rodding Teenagers From Dimension X
The Shredder Is Splintered
Return Of The Shredder
The Incredible Shrinking Turtles
It Came From Beneath These Sewers
The Mean Machines
Curse Of The Evil Eye
Return Of The Technodrome
Beneath These Streets
Burne's Blues (okay, this is a really silly ep, but the bit about the Elvis aliens is pure genius!)
Corporate Raiders From Dimension X
The Big Rip Off
The Big Break In
The Big Blow Out
Planet Of The Turtleoids, I and II
The Sword Of Yurikawa

That oughta keep you busy for a while.

I would say that is a good list, and yes I love the elvis part of that ep, possibly one of the greatest moments in TMNT history!!! :D I would also put in Casey Jones: Outlaw hero

Also
Invasion of the Punk Frogs
Leatherhead: Terror of the Swamps
Michealangelo Meets Mondo Gecko

Don't forget:

Cowabunga, Shredhead!
The Incredible Shrinking Turtles
The Case of the Killer Pizzas
Super Bebop and Mighty Rocksteady (don't start)
Bye Bye, Fly
Get Shredder!
Turtle Trek

It's late...
