ugh and double ugh!!! they need to seriously stop bringing in things from 2k3 into the irage comics I don't mind it the other way around this is bothering the heck out of me. Perhaps it's because it comes off as a selling point gimmic to me but oh well I'm sure I will get over it.
And I'm sorry to sound like a broken record but for the love of god please if your going to have a monumental issue like that do not have jim lawson do the comics art work or pay him more money so he does better art work or something shesh can his style slide any lower down the pole.:evil:
I do love the idea of Sid coming back but the way those foot mystics look bother me to no end.

Yeah, I'm not too sure 'bout those Foot Mystics, but I love the cover--and bringing back Sid sounds great!

Raph would no doubt be best man. Wonder what the bachelor party would be like? Bustin' heads?

Bachelor party = Body count? lol I have to agree with Putre about bringing 2k3 into the comics, but at the same time, this is a Tales issue, so who knows where it falls in the timeline...

Surprisingly, I do like this cover. I hope the interior art is up to the same standard.

The Foot Mystics also do nothing for me...

Hey, how come April's got a katana behind her back? Since when has she fought with one in Mirage continuity?

I agree, I'm really turned off by this.

I dont see any problem. If Pete happened to stumble on a good thing with the Mystics when producing the series, then he's welcome to incorporate it into the comics.

The problem is this entire time in the series they where never there.
He's taking things from the show and incorperating them into the comic that never even had such characters untill now.
Like I said I am sure I'll get over it but I really don't like the mixing of the universes unless it's some sort of cross over.

I thought Pete didn't write Tales 2, but supervised. Am I mistaken?

Supervised means he approved it though... BTW aren't the current comics using the 2K3 Foot symbol now instead of the original Foot Clan symbol that actually looked like a foot?

Depends on the issue. For this one it says he came up with the plot (while Dan wrote the actual script).

And seriously also if Sid is part of the foot clan they've seriously lost their minds...the foot would never let a loser thug like sid join their ranks.:lol:

Approving it makes it all his fault? That doesn't seem fair.

It doesn't matter who it is it's a matter that it just seems stupid when he gets all ticked about people asking him to bring in other characters to the cartoon and into comics yet they take from the new cartoon and slap it all over the old mirage comics like it's some sort frosting on a cake.
And if you ask me the cakes stale.
It's the same exact thing though they might as well just toss bebop and rocksteady in there while they're at it.
He's also the head of the company if he didn't like an idea or the way something looks he tells them no or to change it so really when it comes down to it it's really on his head or whomever is in charge of ideas and editing.
Also The Foot Mystics have been in tales of tmnt before and did not look as they did in the cartoon as they do on this cover.
But like I am saying I don't care who's at fault the idea is not a good one.
You want to make a 2k3 or cartoon based comic than make than don't edit out the past and change everything because you've got some vision.

But the return of Sid after 20 years??? Hmm

I don't know, but she has been involved in at least one scrap with the Turtles, Casey, and Shadow in TMNT 4.6 (or was it 4.7?) after she sets off a metal detector due to the Nanobots in her system. She displayed some martial arts ability and suggested that her spending time around the Turtles rubs off. Maybe she developed some interest in the Katana?

What's with the constant assault of Casey stories in Tales? Isn't it Tales of the TMNT, not Tales of the Goongala?
