If you're missing 2k3 figures...try Marshals.
I had no cash last night, but i was at Marshalls and they had several 2k3 TMNT repackaged (?) figures. They have the classic Turtle head packaging, and they came with a DVD. It looks like a generic DVD, and not an episodic one. But I found the first Baxter Stockman, Extreme sport Mikey, and the Silver Sentry (which got me angry, since I was looking for him, and I know it will be gone next time I go there). They were 6 bucks though (about the same as they cost at Target...not much of a price drop, huh?)
My question is, is this a new repackage, because I've never seen DVD's come in that packaging before. And even still, I don't think that Baxter or Silver were in that assortment. |
Good to hear. I've had some other interesting sightings at Marshalls (including a few of the 2k3 DVDs for like $5 or so).
Not sure on those figure/DVD combos, but recall there were a few DVDs that came with figures (like: some early 2k3 episodes with various figures, and then the Paleo Patrol coming with "Return of Savanti" 2-Parter). |
hmm I'll have to go check it out!
but are you talking about these ones? http://cgi.ebay.com/TEENAGE-MUTANT-N...QQcmdZViewItem or this? http://cgi.ebay.com/TEENAGE-MUTANT-N...QQcmdZViewItem |
Yeah. That second one. Same packaging and I think Same DVD.

Well, as see with my other post, I've heard of Marshalls (infact there are a few I've seen, and been in to, while out shopping). It's mainly a clothing store, but has some other stuff. |
Ok, So I went and they didn't have any Ninja Turtles @ Marshals...:ohwell:

Basically one of those "products vary by store" scenarios, I'm afraid. As Marshalls gets in various things at any old time. |

Looks like I now have an excuse to go to Marshalls for like the first time since getting my irregular sneakers there when I was a kid. :P

So you're best bet is to try every single one you can get to. And try their sub brands like AJ Wright and TJ Maxx. They sometimes have the same things. All stores carried the Star Wars and Marvel Attacktix. |

Wait what?! There's TMNT stuff at Marshalls?! Gah!! There's one just up the street!! Definatly have to go there sometime this week when Im going christmas shopping. :o
I suggest also going to TJ Max since they're part of the Marshalls store line. |
It looks like they've put out a whole bunch of "discount" toys for the holidays. Second time I went to that one and Couldn't bloody afford Silver Sentry.
|
I don't have a Marshall's where I live so I decided to try Ross since it's the same thing pretty much (probably even the same owners). But I found Mike vs. General Sepriente or whatever for $10 which I picked up. I also saw a Paleo Patrol raptor (super lame!), Raph vs. the Yeti (I don't get it), and the 2K3 plug-n-play game. I had to resist the urge to buy that. Does anyone know if the games are any good?

Well they apparently cleared everything out the DAY after Christmas. So not only did I NOT get Silver Sentry, but also Wembly Fraggle as well. I'm pretty angry about that.
However... sigh... if you're willing to pay 10 bucks a figure, I found some in Rite Aid.... |

I happened to see a few in their the other day -- 2 Dark Leo, and a Mutated Don. I got Don. :) |
Bump
I was just at a TJ Maxx yesterday, and I had a pleasant surprise. They just got in a huge shipment of TMNT FF figures. FINALLY I was able to get Donatello, and can stop whining about it.
They had much more FF figures stocked than I've seen of the rest of the 2k3 line, so in case you're missing some, or want duplicates, check there. I got mine for 4.99. |
