does any remeber the Outbreak in Season4?
i just went over again that epid and found a staggering fact that donnie has a thing with his big brother leo.bang!how dramatic is that,but of course it is through deduction step by step and just a theory.and i can adduce neither anything to prove my theory nor to retort it.to introduce how it works,i shell present several lines in the questioned epid.

in this epid,leo had came back home from the ancient JP with some treasures he gained from that pop,in a word,he have changed.like he said to mikey in the sewer as they four were looking for new palce to settle in,
"channge is goood."
then raph mocked:"oh is that official ancient one wisdom?"
this dialogue is very important for it paved the way for the next event.
in this talk we are told that leo has changed and most probablely advanced.in another word,out stands from the raph the mikey and the donnie.

then there was the outbreak exploreing,as u may remeber,leo was in obvious easy fighting with the gaint bugs solo while the other three were busy at helping each other out.
an considerable event here is that raph came to donnie's rescue twice,while there was zero shot of leo at the same time,in fact,throughout the entire battle,leo only got one amezing shot described how beautifully he beat the crap out of the bug.that's veeeeery impressive.:roll:
one may wonder why the other three bothers particularly got so many shots of cooperation,something he hates to admit but the fact is that leo was alienated,just after he came back from his special trainning.

immediately after this event,donnie became active more than the ever.also concievable line is from mikey:
"hey don,why don' t y just take it easy"
here he suggested that donnie had been overexited at something.
in this case,he was adjusting their securtiy system against thoes cockroaches.
and also impressive line from donnie himself ,in a confident and vigorous tone:
"good,my analysis is finished,i got a sample from the tip raph took out,something about the ooz is familiar,i compared it to...blah blah blah and i was RIGHT!"
as his last word came out the leo showed up,silently,and in extreme composure he replied:
"right about what,your theory?"...
as you can see here,i think i have nothing more to interpret.with the previous events stimulating,their relationship is clear as a crystal clear.things looked like that donnie had a competation with leo,because he wanted to gather the other brothers,well,probablely raph remained only (as mikey goes with the majority always), thus he particularly pointed out (to leo) that "RAPH took out",he was drawing someone to HIS side.
well,it is understandable even one thinks with his knee that in this team the only one that can survive and adapt to the similarity of leo is donnie.

up to now,everything is clear as shell,the lines of these chars are under strict
procedure of design and selection of our visonary turtle makers.i might not as many kids might not do in the past recognize these amazing dialogues when i was very young,but now is changed...

i want to say that every line of them is elaborately invented and usefull for the whole story,it objectively reflects the ideas of its great designers.

finally,i want to addthat in this way i came to the (theoritical)conclusion that donnie had sorta animosity against leo.:lol:...

Right....what I understood I totally disagree with. Donnie isn't trying to take over, that's so not his personality. Of all the Turtles, Donnie's the most likely to be a loner. Though Raph may be a hot head, he also loves his family and couldn't live alone.

Out of that I somehow got that he's saying Don has sexual feelings towards Leo:o

Seems to me that Don confides a lot in Leo because he knows Leo will understand it, although maybe not quite on the same level. He still knows what's going on.

In Good Genes, Leo knew about the helicopter Don was working on, where as Raph and Mikey didn't. And who tranquilizes Donny when he went on a rampage in Bishop's base in the same episode? Again, Leo. They do seem to have a strong brotherly bond, but it's a different kind than say what Leo and Raph have or with Mikey. Leo respects Don, and Don likewise respects him, but I don't think they interact too much unless Donny needs his input or something. They pretty much give each other their space.

And your point is...I think everyone knew about it, they were all there when they stole it, they just didn't bring up the subject until deciding to go after Bishop and having Leatherhead tell them where Bishop was since he was the only one who knew. And being the one to tranquilize him was purely random, anybody could've administered that (not the villains of course).

I lost count, my X and me were like Rabbits, her roommate and me were like that to.

Anyway, why the explanation then if they all knew? "This is what Don was working on before he..." Seems to me from that implication right there no one else knew he was working on it.

And if any one of them at random could've tranquilized Don, as you say, then why was Leo chosen?

Leonardo has kind of a habit of stating the obvious from time to time if you notice. Also, Leatherhead wasn't there in Insane in the Membrane, so he probably hadn't been told about the helicopter yet.

I was starting to think you were either a child or mentally impaired based on your hard-to-follow writing. The name "syd" coupled with a pic in your signature gave the impression that you were possibly a teenage/adult Caucasian, possibly American, but now we know. And now I will read your posts with more patience. :)

That said, I can't see how one shred of the "evidence" you set forth supports your theory. Leo tranquilized Don because he saw it as his duty to protect his brothers, to take on the the task requiring the highest degree of responsibility. Philia love, not eros love.

One could also prove that Raph has a "thing" for Leo or Splinter for April based on this logic.

I don't think so, Raphael and Michaelangelo love their brother as much as he does and believe in getting the job done.

I see the point, but no good proof. Donatello's not the type to put on airs or get full of himself like Leoanrdo or Michaelangelo sometimes, but he does take some pride in his scientific accomplishments which is no big deal. He works hard probably just because he believes in...as stated below...protecting his brothers, since it's everyone's responsibility.
Of course its his duty to protect his brothers, it's every turtles responsibility to do that. So it still could've been anyone.

geez you guys you are being a little bit rude to the guy. Relax. Although do admit that I had the hardest time understanding what it is you wrote there Syd, it was barely legiable. I am in no way in a position to critisis, since I make my fair share of spelling errors and habitually write big bodies of text on a regular basis, but maybe you should slow down when you type and break up bodies of text by starting a new paragraph instead of just writing words into each other, or merly starting new sentices instead of going like this:

it's a little hard on the eyes and difficult to read when you are writing a lot. By the way I am in no shape or form trying to put you down or trying to make fun of you. If you think my comments on how you type are off base and/or insulting then I want to apologise right now because that is not my intention.

But to answer your question No I don't think that Leo and Don have a rivilary going on but I do think they are very close. I think these two are closer than what is led to believe on screen and it would be nice to see these two pair up and interact more with out having Raphael and Mikey's immaturity interfereing. However it would be interesting if these two developed a slight competion of sorts between the two of them. They are easily the smartest and most startigistically minded of the four, so that could be cool to see.
