Karpo, I remember you telling me the masks were suppose to have white on them, and those aren't their eyes...well in the beginning they all blink, perfect example is Leonardo before he puts out the flame...

I bet if they didn't blink, people would say something :D

Remember that the TMNT's eyes are greatly featured through their bandana, and that is what helps bring their eyes out. The absence of pupil's shouldn't be thrown into the same category as the absence of eyes however. So it does make perfect sense that they blink.

I LOVE that their pupil are gone. That's one move I NEVER expected on the part of the artist. That's something i though would always remain in the comic books, but then here it is.

I think it is supposed to be mesh type stuff. Batman does the same thing, well kinda.

Yes in the Batman Beyond, TAS, And X-Men cartoons, some of the characters eyes were like that. But the turtles should have pupils when they remove the bandanas. That's what I want to see. :lol: I wonder how they'll look compared to the Mirage turtles....

Yeah just like in Mirage, when they take their bandanas off they will have pupils.

But then how come in the beginning Leonardo's face was dark, but then he seemed to open his eyes...with no pupils, I think the animators think they dont have any pupils...

Nope, I think it's just the style they are using. I think it has been confirmed that they will have pupils when their mask are off.

Yea, in my infamous interview with 4Kids, the guy said there would be pupils when they take off their bandanas.

Yah... when they are in ninja mode, it's like their 'super-power'. So glowing white eyes is one of those special features that only ninja turtles have. :D

Don't worry about it.

I think it adds more effect with the pupil-less eyes...it makes them seem more like NINJAS!

I kind of like the "no pupils when they have their bandannas on". It gives them a nice effect.
